Tackling was bad as I remember in a while

Yeah, the lack of wrapping up is something you usually see from other teams. The one on Cox was tough though, that's more of a typical CB trying to tackle a TE and just not being able to bring him down.

I think Boldin matches up well with Seattle DBs. He is big and strong. Also VD will give them problems. We still need to find another WR. I think Patton needs to get a shot. Williams didnt look great and Moore was no where to be found.

The rookie safety, Reed, played a really nice game, with some solid hits, and some good coverage, and a pick!

Gore and Kaepernick not on same page about 5-6 times. Gore ran one way hand off the other way. Once Gore had to stop cut and get on right side and was stopped after no gain. Once saw Kaepernick do a 180 to get Gore the ball. Disrupted timing on hand offs allowing the defense to get penetration. Most like a lack of playing together in preseason games

everyone so worried about our WR's, but if Kaep is accurate enough and has protection..............

not to say I never want better WR talent, but we're "ok" for time being. who said Kaep and Davis aren't in sync?

I don't think one of them going the wrong way has to do with not playing together. It's getting the play call wrong.

Yeah, great line from Kap. And totally true, all the bluster pregame about hitting the QB was nonsense, that's never been how you stop the option.

Well they closed the other thread so here I will start a new one to continue to talk about the game.

Great win by the 49ers. 3 in a row against GB. Kap owns GB.

If Kaepernick threw more accurately they would be really tough. Too many guys wide open having to dive or go to the ground to catch errant passes. No turnovers today though so that is pretty good.

I want to call attention to the play Whitner made on the second to last play of the game. He came from about 10 yards away to blow Cobb up and keep him in bounds. That might have been a game saver.

If the refs would have made the right call earlier in the game that last play is a field goal to tie the game as Crosby was making them from 65 to 68 yards in practice and has made 15 out of his last 16 kicks

Boo hoo hoo! Had they made the correct call on the pass interference on Shields against Williams on the bomb, the 49ers win by 14.

AND I'M VERY WORRIED ABOUT THAT!! If Seattle is able to shutdown our running game in similar fashion, ain't no way on earth our WRs will match up well with their DBs. We need to do a better job in controlling the line of scrimmage. If we think we can escape another week by not winning the battle of the trenches, we will be in for a rude awakening.

With all the D Linemen and LBs they have out the 49ers should be able to do that. Our O line just doesn't run block very well.
