Seattle under Quinn or Bradley never would've let that happen. We have WAY too much talent on D (right?) to be giving up those kind of yards.

It's true that the Hawks didn't have a 500 yard defensive day very often while Quinn and Bradley were here, but there were plenty of bad defensive performances with them around.

So in all honesty - he hasn't been that much worse than Bradley, and our defense is still top 10 (8 scoring, 4 overall). Nothing is perfect, but the issues aren't necessarily issues that would be different if we still had the other coordinators here.

Good post blstoker. Fair points. I'm just shocked we collected 4 turnovers, the offensive production we did, and Steelers STILL got that many yards/points with us allowing 0 turnovers or special teams TDs, WITH Seattle crowd noise. Just crazy. Is our D that bad or is Steelers' O THAT good?

Shark, again the Stealers threw the ball 59 times. That was their game plan. If someone told you Pitt was going to throw the ball 59 times, what would you guess their point and yardage totals would be against us?

The defense is just getting old and younger guys have not stepped up. I really thought jordan hill would be a stud for us but he has dissapointed. Still have potential there with marsh and clark. Probably need to draft a CB and a DT. If the OL can keep it together against better defenses we might not be as desperate for OL as i originally thought.

Our offense has to pick up the slack and they were able to do it yesterday.

Man you and I both. I thought he would dominate when he got healthy. He played SO good in 2014.

Someone earlier mentioned that our DT's were not performing well and I have to agree with that.
I expected more from Mebane, Hill, and Rubin.
I, sure this is Mebanes last year with us and most likely Rubin's too.
