That may not be the worst thing. Two good years and out. Those last four years likely won't be his best. Then we take the money and invest in someone else.

Its the scenario I hoped for, get two good years from him and he flies the coup for better money and someone else gets stuck with that albatross of a contract.

Exactly. And with the tax ceiling likely rising by a good margin next year, even we are "stuck" with him, we should be OK. We have lots of mid-back rotation guys coming up in the coming years, with a couple guys with 1/2 potential (even if that potential is a reach).
