Turner and Muncy, two of the best players on that team were dumpster dives.

And they traded from a STACKED farm system to get Scherzer and Tayler. They wouldn’t have been able to make that trade without building a hell of a farm system…

Well, one of the tasks in my, er, profession, is to work on the original languages of the Bible. I am fairly proficient in the Greek text, but I have never mastered Hebrew, nor will I in this lifetime. No complete edition, but lots of fragments translated.

Hebrew is the Jewish scholar's full employment policy.

Eh, I mean, it's easier than English though isn't it? Simpler. At least that's how I remember it, it's been a long time.

I work for an Israeli company. While I don’t know or understand Hebrew, I hear it all the time.


No offense intended, but that is an ugly sounding language.

In some respects. 1/4 the number of words, so that's simpler. But there are a ton of prepositional tenses...confusing AF. I've tried, but it's really hard. And I learned Spanish, German and French. Hebrew kicks their asses.

Well, it's Semetic. Just learn "beseder" and you're fine. It's like "doch" in German or "dude" in English. Can mean anything you want.

Yeah it is. And not just in the pronunciations. Reading it requires completely breaking down how you read and rebuilding it the opposite way.
