The A squad is in. No Mutt with significant ownage on PV; Nobody has faced Matz.

Might be a rough first trip through the order for us, but if we stay patient we'll be fine.

The Peaver finally pitched well last time and he has an extra day of rest.

Nice first inning by the boys. tagging on 24 pitches. Keep that up and worst case, we get to the bully early.

Andrew Suarez??? He is expected to be a fast mover, but he is currently in SJ. He should not be thrown to the wolves.

Heston? He has only appeared once since getting sent down (4/23).

Blackburn? Maybe by default, but he has not been pitching that well.

Mejia? Has been OK, but he got shelled on Tuesday. And he is doing this in AA.

Bum-Cueto-Shark is looking pretty dang solid, but Peavy and Cain really need to get going. Can't keep running them out there like this.

The team can work through one of Cain/PV struggling to find it. They can't deal with BOTH struggling to find it. We need to look at options sooner rather than later at this point.

I was surprised to see he is older than both Mejia and Blackburn. I thought he was more of a kid. Maybe he is higher on the depth chart than I gave him credit for...

It seems like he's been around forever. They signed him in 2010, knowing full-well he was a major project. 6'-7" and less than 160 pounds with incredibly long arms when he signed. He's worked out his mechanics and he's put on weight though still only listed at 180 lbs, I've heard he's a bit bigger than that.

The clock is ticking with him, though.
