so if we send Okert down to AAA, who comes up? Do we have a left reliever ready?
Braulio Lara?so if we send Okert down to AAA, who comes up? Do we have a left reliever ready?
I would guess that Peavy is out of the rotation and Cain is on the DL by the ASB.Irrespective of who the G's call up, I doubt the guy they cut loose/send to the bullpen will be Cain. He makes $21M this year and next before a $7M buyout in 2018. I can't see them eating the contract this early.
Unless he's just awful. Like, Timmy 2014 awful. Even then, they held onto Timmy in 15.
DL is always a possibility. I'm really rooting for Cain; great Giant and he shouldn't go out like a chump.
So you are expecting Heston AND Blackburn to be in the rotation?I would guess that Peavy is out of the rotation and Cain is on the DL by the ASB.
Blach??so if we send Okert down to AAA, who comes up? Do we have a left reliever ready?
Don't think they'll give up on Blach's development as a starter yet. McCormick seems about as likely as Lara but McCormick is doing better in Sac.Blach??
Is McCormick hurt?
I can see Evans making a trade for a shut-down Loogy at the deadline.
I like seeing our guys bubble up the leader boards in stats.I dunno I'm pretty into games where we score 9 runs in 4 innings
I would guess that Peavy is out of the rotation and Cain is on the DL by the ASB.
Wild guess. Nothing to substantiate it.Both eh? I'd think one of them makes it.
Yeah, but giving up 8 runs in 8 innings?I dunno I'm pretty into games where we score 9 runs in 4 innings
That would be nice, but I dont expect it. I fully expect at least one of them to to be out of the rotation by the ASB (not sure which, though). At least one of the kids will be ready for a shot by then.
These are the risks one takes when one allows one's pitcher to throw 120 pitches in the previous outing. No, they can't. But, they needn't be 5.2 IP with 5 ER either. Ungood.
Same here. Though, so far, he has only apeared in one game, and that was in relief. The first thing I thought when they sent Heston down was that they were giving him rotation work on the regular to re-build his arm strength to take over for PV by the ASB. I would like to see how PV would work out as a long reliever...I don't think motivation and energy will be a problem for him.
