I know offense is down league wide but it still looks pretty pathetic to look at today's lineup (basically the A squad, minus Wade and Estrada) and see one guy with an OPS of .900+ (Ramos) a 2nd guy who just got back to .800 (Bailey) and only one more above .750 (Wisely). This offense is pathetic. Did I say pathetic yet?
Put Estrada in and only two guys have an OPS at .750 or better. Certainly understandable why the Giants don't want to carry Fitzgerald.

And yet, the offense didn't do them in.

The moundshattery did.

This team is cooked. 21 players on IL so far this year? Just not our season.

Trade Snell, Soler, Forto and Chapman for whatever you can get. Let the kids play. Plan for 25.

You may be right eventually, plenty of teams chasing those last 2 wild cards, but to give up when they are 1 1/2 games back in mid-June and tied in the loss column, when injured guys are coming back soon, when the trade window could bring more guys, is gayer than RuPaul giving Elton John a foot rub. These guys won titles from the wild card, it happens all the time in baseball. Get healthy and get hot with good pitching and they could win again. Or maybe not, some of us like to try.
