I know this is probably a jinx, but Ramos is not only putting his name into the ROY discussion, but he is making a bid for MVP as well.

BBRef must have updated that late. When I updated the Giants kids, they still had him listed as a rookie and I haven’t revisited since.

Assuming that strikeout was the last AB of the night for Conforto, it puts his line since coming off the IL early this month at .078/.161/.157 in 56 ABs (15 games). He is cold.

While it is nice that Goldschmidt isn't killing us with every AB, it is kind of weird to see him suddenly become replacement level. I know it happens to every ballplayer but his seemed very sudden.

Yeah, probably leadoff, and put Soler right behind him. Maybe have Chapman in the 3 hole. That should help all of them.

I know offense is down league wide but it still looks pretty pathetic to look at today's lineup (basically the A squad, minus Wade and Estrada) and see one guy with an OPS of .900+ (Ramos) a 2nd guy who just got back to .800 (Bailey) and only one more above .750 (Wisely). This offense is pathetic. Did I say pathetic yet?
Put Estrada in and only two guys have an OPS at .750 or better. Certainly understandable why the Giants don't want to carry Fitzgerald.

It’s bad team that has a chance to be saved if they can get Ray and Snell back soon by their pitching. Fortunately there are a lot of bad teams in the National League
