See it's games like tonight where you really can't move him to 3rd or 1st just yet. You gotta find a left fielder with power so he can be moved down in the lineup and catch for a couple more years at least.

Arroyo, meanwhile, made an out his first at bat. Clearly, he is a bust and needs to be released immediately. He cannot get a hit against the Dodgers.

it was a great gesture on part of the giants.... either bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd (can't remember)... they played Romo's walk up music and displayed his greatest moments as a giant on the big screen... went on for 5 minutes or so... every one was up and dancing (if you know his walk up music, you know why). romo came out of the dugout and was clearly moved by the fan support... great moment for a great giant

arroyo made some very good plays at 3rd and his throws to both 2nd and 1st were crisp bullets right on target. hit the ball sharply 2 or 3 times, just happened to be at an infieleder. only looked overmatched once on his last at bat. overall, a good debut imo

great game, however melacon makes me nervous

batting order is still a mystery
