I worry not about the Dogs.

I worry not about the Snakes.

I do worry about the Giants and their battling/pitching slumps, and their inability to beat Arizona at home.

We are now 2-11 against them at home in the last 13 games, and have been shut out six of those games.

I thought to begin the season that this lineup was virtually slump-proof. Oops. Someone forgot to tell them.

Are you going into the park? We were there Monday. There is a ton of water. All the waterfalls are roaring. Even about a quarter mile from the Yosemite falls, you can feel the mist. Up against it by the bridge, you are going to get soaked. Bring a change of clothes.

Oh, and get there early. Once it is 11am, the place is packed.

edit: Since we moved to the Modesto area, we bought the annual pass. It has saved us money, and it motivates us to go to the park. It's only about a 2-hour drive for us. Best time to go is now, and in October. Though there is much less water in October. June-August is crazy crowded.

Our son hiked up Half Dome last summer with some buddies. It's a 21 mile round trip, and they started at 5:00 a.m. He's in good shape, but it was a difficult hike.
