Sharks! Boy, I'm set tonight. Giants game then I'll turn over to the Sharks and during the intermissions I'll switch over too the Blazers-Mavs game. Then at 10, its the Giants on Showtime.

Many of us didn't like the Sanchez trade at all. Seemed like once again the Giants were sacrificing the future for players that weren't worth very much.

Laguna HIlls Giants was a respected poster and overall cool guy on the Espn board. He consistently lobbied for the Giants to go with a youth movement. The Alderson trade especially frustrated him.

Very cool guy though. I wish he was a regular on here.

I remember Laguna, just not his stance on the Franchez trade.

There was just a LOT of debate at the time of the trade on whether it was a good deal or not (I was on the "not" side, myself).

It caused some serious "disagreements" among the dumdum regs at the time.

I was on the "WTF??" side, with many. Interesting day, didn't he just cross over to the other dugout after the game? I'm pretty sure the Pirates were in town.

Supposedly the trade was made a few days earlier, but the Bucs did not want him to play against them to start it out. He sat that whole series, then did not not join the Bucs as they left town.
