RoRo is sliding -- wonder how long he'll stay at leadoff? Could a start for Ford be in the offing?
Miggy moved up to 5 and Panda down to 7...must be a Saunders thing
DeRo gets a start and Belt a break -- that makes some sense.

The big question mark is Zeets....will he have control or will he walk the park? Could be a bullpen game. Not sure if I'll get to go tonight; if not I'll catch the game at Frashers.

How good is Ford on defense?

Ford is supposed to be special on D. His speed alone allows him to make catches that ++ CFers can not even dive at.

As for the defensive alignment tonight, why DeRosa at 1st instead of Huff? Why not put DeRosa in Right an Huff at 1st? That tells me his wrist is not 100%

He must be limited on offense right?

.251 at Richmond last year. I guess they don't think he's ready.

Sounds good. Once again, having Cain in the 3rd spot in the rotation is huge. The 'pen should be ready if needed early.

Bochy does not handle Z very well. It is usually pretty obvious when he is "on" and when he isnt, and once he gets to about 85 pitches, you should have someone ready to come in on a moments notice, even when he is "on".

Boch seems to always leave him in one inning too long.

I feel guilty asking this but:

1) Is Zito going on the DL a bad thing?

2) Would Vogelsong perform better?
