If someone who was a huge fan of RGIII agreed to trade Joe Montana and his 5th round pick for RGIII and a 9th round pick you think that's something that should be allowed?

Yeah I sure would. If you deem someone too big an idiot to be a GM, then don't let them in the draft.

1st, the trade you used as an example is so far more absurd than the ones made, it isn't even funny.

2nd, people don't see players the same way. Someone commented earlier that there are players still on the board that he would have taken in the 1st or 2nd round. I have some top 15 guys left on ny board too, and it's the 5th round. So if someone traded a 5th for a 1st, as long as the two GM's agree, that's their deal, it's THEIR teams,

Lets say team A traded Emmitt(#2 overall pick) and their 6th round pick to team B for their 4th and 5th rounders. Lets say team A took Earl Campbell with the 4th rounder they picked up. They made the trade because they had a similar grade on Emmitt and Earl, and for whatever reason, Earl fell. Now they get a similar talent(in their eyes) and they get to move up a round for another guy they had ranked in THEIR OWN top 20. Great trade for both teams...except, someone who likes Emmitt a lot more than Earl squeals about it, or someone says you shouldn't trade #2 overall for a 4th and 6th....

I guess we are just gonna disagree on this. The example I gave might have been over the top but I could see at some point a trade being made that would be equally as onesided.

I don't wanna ever turn people away from the draft becasue they may not know as much as some others do.
