Can we just trade players? (as long as it is 1 for 1)

We don't need to ban trades, just trading picks....

We can trade players sure, but we need to come up with a rule, I don't think it would be fair to trade you my 9th round pick for your 4th round pick.

You agree with me about Page being the best DT ever? I think his 71 MVP season was the greatest season by a defensive player ever

Should we do away with trades all together or should we set up a trade spreadsheet if you will that will show what you can and can't trade?

A spread sheet like the nfl does with points would be great. The trade can't be over 100pt difference maybe? Set rules would be ideal.

Of course I do, but I might be a little biased. The only thing that is a knock on Page is the Vikings never winning the Super Bowl, our defense got pushed around in every Super Bowl and it takes away from how truly dominate he was.

I'm guessing they'd mostly be 2 for 2 trades. Trade up in one postion and down in another. As long as both teams improve in one spot, I'm sure everyone would be ok.

We also all have very different views on who is important or better than others. I'm seeing guys picked now that could have been picked in the first two rounds - and there were some early picks that surprised me to be picked so soon...

My take is, we have them or we don't. Either no trades at all, or allow any trade 2 GM's agree too. I'm not scared of someone else making a trade that wins it, it would be on me for not making the same deal myself. I'm not into regulating trades. Look at the NFL and NBA. Everyone knows the HWalker trade sent the 90's Cowboys into being a Dynasty. But I remember when the deal was done, the national media ripped the shit out of the COWBOYS for trading their best player. The Redskins were applauded for getting RG3....thud

Now, how about when the Lakers had the trade in place for Chris Paul? I hate the Lakers, but everyone knows that was total

I just cant stand with ya on this, sometimes a trade swings the entire draft and thats not what this has ever been about. There were a couple trades made in our last draft that went a long way in deciding the winner. We just can't let that happen.
