I agree. I love college basketball, don't watch the NBA at all except some playoff ball. I like both college football and the NFL though.

Doing a college one is fun because you are doing it based on college not how they do outside of it.

So people like Dwade and Melo are high picks in both NBA and college

But a guy like Hasheem Thabeet is a big time college mock pick...but you couldn't be paid to take him on your NBA one.

I think it would be a lot of fun drafting on college production.

I watch college hoops regular season for the purpose of making money in March. The quality of the game is tough sometimes compared to the NBA. They really need a 30 second shot clock.

O yeah you can find plenty of guys with killer college careers and little to no NBA impact, that's what would make it fun.

Thabeet just came to mind because hes recent and sucks so much ass as pro player.

I just looked at all the teams. We can already see a few different ideas about drafing for this.

I think we are going to have a ton of great teams... Voting will be tough...

Got confused. Had to double check that I was in the NFL Draft Chat thread and not an NBA one.

I agree w/ you. Knowing the history of certain players makes it more interesting, or at least I think. Hey for every Dwade & Melo there will always be the Lionel Simmons/Steve Alford's of CBB. And talking about great CBB careers that were nothing in the NBA...remember Never Nervous, Pervis Ellison? He had a great CBB career & stunk it up @ the next level.

There's no doubt. I don't pick winners off big names, I look at teams strengths and weaknesses and head to head matchups. Who could at least slow down who. Gonna be real interesting because there will be multiple outstanding teams

Ha yup. He wasn't completely terrible in the NBA he just couldn't stay on the damn court. But between being a number 1 pick and having so many injuries he's a bust.

He was a beast in college though just consistent 4 years straight.

Exactly. Just too many example to even list. Which is why I think a CBB Draft would be damn interesting. Going old school for a moment could you imagine Jerry West w/ today's 3 point line in college?:gaah:

O man. So many guys I'd love to see with that 3 pt line, Mr Larry Bird. Just look at the all time scoring list and see the guys who didn't play with a 3 point line. The top 2 for example!!

Lot of great college guys who weren't the same in the pros. Ralph Sampson, wow. Steve Alford. Len Bias(sadly). Kyle Macy. Bobby Hurley. Quinn Buckner. Sam Bowie. Chris Jackson.
