Now that's a bummer. What's the deal...alotta pro sports fans here on SportsHoopla & not that many college fans? If so never understood how one can follow pro sports & not follow college.

I follow both for draft purposes, but don't have a favorite team for college. But being from the Northeast I know college football isn't nearly as big up here as it is in the south or midwest. Of course I love march madness like anybody else. But in history draft I would probably be pretty lost.

I'll back your college idea for the next one, pick the sport

Beer Pong:noidea:...wait a minute, Beer Pong might only be a sport on selected college campuses though.

We just couldn't get more then 6 is the reason. If we can get 12 participants we would do the college janitor mock draft of '84 if we could.

Planned on waiting more for a QB, but I thought Marino here was the best value.

I had Marino at either the 5 or 6 on best Qb's. Good steal in the 4th

I can understand why CFB isn't big from where you're from, just not alotta tradition or anything like that. Funny how some sports are more popular in certain places though. Now March Madness...love it! My bad about this rant, can't help it. One day I will make it to a Final Four & Phog Allen, it's on my Bucket List. Although I have been to CBB games @ TheDeanDome (and old Carmichael Arena), Carrier Dome, Freedom Hall, Rupp Arena & Assembly Hall & a few opening round NCAA Tourney games back in the 90's in Dayton, OH. Just have always been a sports fan, although working @ a Vegas Sports Book for nearly 5 years kinda kicked things into overdrive as far as the all around history & stat stuff.

We have tried to do a college draft but for some reason nobody wants to do them, even the regulars don't join...

Now that's a shame. I look @ it this way...w/o some kinda college career there is no pro career. Just don't understand the disinterest in the college game from some diehard pro fans.

Whats funny to me is college football seems to be the most popular sport on the Hoop and we still couldn't find anyone...

Dude that's awesome. I think that would be my dream job to work at a Vegas sports book.

Interesting. Maybe part of the reason is some just don't wanna put the time into looking up he info as to who to draft?

I actually enjoyed it, for the most part. The degenerate gamblers that would always return got old quick though.

If so never understood how someone can follow pro sports & not follow college that closely. Personally I like college more than pros. The older I get the most disgusted I get w/ these greedy pro athletes.

I agree. I love college basketball, don't watch the NBA at all except some playoff ball. I like both college football and the NFL though.

Doing a college one is fun because you are doing it based on college not how they do outside of it.

So people like Dwade and Melo are high picks in both NBA and college

But a guy like Hasheem Thabeet is a big time college mock pick...but you couldn't be paid to take him on your NBA one.

I think it would be a lot of fun drafting on college production.
