Why is it that the long breaks are right before I'm supposed to pick after someone.

IMO grabbing the few great players of the shitty teams early will help decide who wins this, some teams you can wait because they got like 20 all time greats...

Yeah, I kicked that around too. That would be my only holdup with taking Rice or Emmitt or Montana early. No doubt you get a great player, but the Cowboys and Niners are 30 deep is stud players

That was my thought when I changed directions. Seems like a sound strategy. I may have been able to get Irvin or aikmen late amongst several other cowboy greats I was blinded by stats

Good point... It took me a minute to decide who to pick first because of that... Thing is only Montana is equal value to Rice IMO and there are some players you need to have on your team... My next 2 picks will be awesome... I feel if I can get these 2 guys I have a great chance... We'll see...

There's no doubt, the strategy thing is great, but if you have a shot at Rice or Montana, you gotta pull the trigger

I think after the first round or two, we'll see this strategy much more....

We'll also see a similar strategy for the few positions with only a few all-time greats...

It's definitely going to add some strategy. I have a feeling there are going to be some very average players at the bottom of the rosters. In theory, the worst you could get from any team is the 12th best player in that franchises history, but if you get down to needing a QB, and only have Jacksonville left, and say Brunell is gone, do you really want to give a roster spot to Byron Leftwich......
