Man, I thought I would have 3 picks in by now once we opened it up. Kind of glad, got a couple of ways that I think would be good to go, but I'm torn. This one player per team rule adds a lot to it. Basically, once you draft a player from a team, the rest of that team comes off the board. Makes the player values different IMO.

That's why I took Jim Brown. Since he is one of a few that are good ever off the Browns I can have him and another great in the backfield. I was going to take Montana, but there are a handful of great QB's and 49er greats.

It ups great players on not so winning franchises.

At least if the player played on multiple teams you can switch teams later on if it fits better

IMO grabbing the few great players of the shitty teams early will help decide who wins this, some teams you can wait because they got like 20 all time greats...

Yeah, I kicked that around too. That would be my only holdup with taking Rice or Emmitt or Montana early. No doubt you get a great player, but the Cowboys and Niners are 30 deep is stud players

Everyone just says fuck it to their daily lives for one day. We pound out the entire draft in 1 day. The catch...you take a shot after each pick.


By round 10 we will know who is cheating.

That was my thought when I changed directions. Seems like a sound strategy. I may have been able to get Irvin or aikmen late amongst several other cowboy greats I was blinded by stats

I have a lot higher opinion of Emmitt than most of the guys here. I agree with what was said earlier, the argument takes more energy than I feel like spending. The depth of Cowboys greats was a bigger reason I might not have taken him there. You got a great player in my book though

Good point... It took me a minute to decide who to pick first because of that... Thing is only Montana is equal value to Rice IMO and there are some players you need to have on your team... My next 2 picks will be awesome... I feel if I can get these 2 guys I have a great chance... We'll see...

There's no doubt, the strategy thing is great, but if you have a shot at Rice or Montana, you gotta pull the trigger
