Stotts should get COY. Incredible job, especially if he gets out of the first round.
COY like all the awards is regular season only. And while Stotts is up there, there are so many names deserving this year including Doc Rivers, McMillan, Budenholzer, Malone, etc

No way. Stotts did what he was supposed to do, return to the playoffs. Mike Malone guided the Nuggets to their 1st playoff appearance in 6 years.

If I weren't a Lakers fan, I would be all for this because...my God could you imagine what that might look like? lol

But as a Lakers fan...this can not happen.

Are you saying that pairing wouldn't work? If that trade were to happen, the Lakers need to get some great three-point shooters. Just don't take Klay from us.

What happened to OKC??

After watching this series - and I know it's not completely over yet, but the fat lady is on deck & clearing her throat as we speak- it is really clear they have a couple of issues in OKC to address in order to get this team back on track. A first round exits in two consecutive post seasons is NOT a good look for RW & PG.

Do you have a minute to talk about Joe Burrow?

Yeah, it's hard to imagine Portland losing Game 5. The Rose Garden is gonna be hyped up for that one.

Unless Westbrook learned how to play alongside a star player...I don't see how it works.

Is that RW's team or PG's team? :noidea:

Doesn't matter who team it is. They need each other to play at a high level to be successful.

We've seen games in this series where PG played really well and games where Russ played really well. Those games usually ended in losses because the other one played poorly.

Does that involve becoming a true PG? I just don't see that happening. I think Russ is what he is. First ballot Hall of Famer for sure, but just doesn't have what it takes to be a winner in the playoffs.

I agree, which is why I don't think it would work.

I don't think he'd have to become a true "pass first" point guard, but he'd have to be willing to let Lebron run the offense late in close games and when they were struggling. I don't think Westbrook would be willing to do that.

Agree that he's a first ballot hall of famer. I think his legacy will be a lot like Iverson. Great player, fun to watch, but a guy who gets lots of stats, but no titles.

Well, I won't say it's hard to imagine because we've seen Portland collapse before.

But, I will say it isn't likely since OKC is only consistent at being inconsistent lol
