No need. The tip of the 15 is the first down regardless. The officials review is the only thing that could have overturned the call on the field. The ball was placed on the 15.

That's not definitive. They should have measured it. Instead of granting the first down so quickly.

This was already explained. The overtime starts with the tip of the ball touching the back side (away from the goal line) of the 25 yard line. If the ball is spotted with the tip past the back side of the 15 yard line, it is a first down. If it does not reach the tip of the 15, it is not a first down. There is nothing to measure.

Exactly. And the odd thing is had meeeechegan taken care of business when it mattered most some of their fans that are bitching wouldn't be saying anything about the officiating.

I'm of the opinion that it was a tossup call. If they didn't grant the first down the review never gets overturned. I will say people need to admit that Michigan was dominating this game and choked it away. Speight cost them more than those shit calls.

Kid should stay off the field but Peppers needs to keep his cool too. End of the video when Peppers first grabs him you can see the fan put his hands up and it looks like mouth "my bad". Peppers responds by shoving him in the face.

Different guys will react differently. He probably doesn't need to shove anyone, but this is a minor infraction if anything. Adrenaline running high and some idiot runs into you. You're surrounded by thousands of people, it is kind of a dangerous situation, and you don't know for sure what this stranger who just ran into you is going to do, I can't fault Peppers too much.
