All the major sports sites are the same. No balls to stick up for what's right.
Or spend more than a minute looking at it and look at as many angles as possible. My only issue is why the refs didn't even attempt to measure the spot.

Michigan's Jabrill Peppers shoves an Ohio State fan after Buckeyes' wild win
No need. The tip of the 15 is the first down regardless. The officials review is the only thing that could have overturned the call on the field. The ball was placed on the 15.My only issue is why the refs didn't even attempt to measure the spot.
If you get dicked over on the last game on the last play. Not much else you can do. Refs were wrong and decided this game incorrectly in favor of OSU.Agree. The crying is ridiculous. Their coach didn't help out either

It never made it to the 15.No need. The tip of the 15 is the first down regardless. The officials review is the only thing that could have overturned the call on the field. The ball was placed on the 15.

That's not definitive. They should have measured it. Instead of granting the first down so quickly. No need. The tip of the 15 is the first down regardless. The officials review is the only thing that could have overturned the call on the field. The ball was placed on the 15.

Show me the pic of the ball over the yard marker. Or even the part of his body where the balk was over the yard marker. It was a clear first down
This was already explained. The overtime starts with the tip of the ball touching the back side (away from the goal line) of the 25 yard line. If the ball is spotted with the tip past the back side of the 15 yard line, it is a first down. If it does not reach the tip of the 15, it is not a first down. There is nothing to measure. My only issue is why the refs didn't even attempt to measure the spot.

I'm of the opinion that it was a tossup call. If they didn't grant the first down the review never gets overturned. I will say people need to admit that Michigan was dominating this game and choked it away. Speight cost them more than those shit calls. This was already explained. Kid should stay off the field but Peppers needs to keep his cool too. End of the video when Peppers first grabs him you can see the fan put his hands up and it looks like mouth "my bad". Peppers responds by shoving him in the face.
