I see that OSU is still listed as the winner of the game. Sadly, only one UM fan has spent the entire 36 hours since the end of the game bitching, whining, and complaining about it. With that being ignored, I guess the NCAA can now safely record the results into the official record.

Those rotten bastards are still a pretty damn good team. I am real proud of the Broncos. I have a couple of friends who graduated from Western Michigan. I would like to see them in the playoffs, but it's probably not gonna happen. That is why the playoffs should be 8 teams (no more)

You don't want to see Western in the playoffs. They may have been able to finish second in tBIG west this year. (Maybe, maybe not.). But their D isn't talented enough to hold many of the top teams under 40. Offense has a lot of talent and more importantly expierience, just not enough to offset the difference on defense.

Their Ranking isn't much a slight at all imo.

I don't mind a team scheduling a local FCS team. It is what it is and helps support a local university's budget. Let's be honest, is there really that big of a difference between FCS teams and some of the lower level Group of 5 teams?

Honestly, the Power-5 just needs to split into it's own thing and the current non-power 5 teams need to be pushed into FCS. The reality is, a team from the MAC is competing for the same national title that Alabama is and they're never going to be able to reach it. Western Michigan can win all it's games by a billion, and never even sniff the playoffs. Heck, they'll be lucky to crack the top 10.
