DeVeon Smith sucks as a RB but parts of the Oline sucks. Once the Hoke players are gone that until will be better. Magneson is one of the best players and he's a new player. Evans is the best RB and he's a Jim recruit also. We are probably going to have a sick O-Line class coming in so they should be dominant soon. This will make any RBs one the roster look much better. Evans has Home Run ability.

Magnuson is a 5th year senior. He is gone. Ben Bredeson is a true freshman and took over at G when we lost our LT.

And I agree Evans is our best RB, but he isn't an every down RB. He'd get killed if he had to run between the tackles 20-25 times a game. It is the same reason you don't see OSU feeding Samuel, even though he is their best RB.

MichIvan's problem next year. They lose over half their roster and every starter but 2 or 3. Next year is going to be a down year for UM, IMO.

Yes I mixed the names up, it was Bredeson. Next year won't be that down. I think the offense improves big time. The defense may take a step back but if they win on the recruits they are favored on, they will have a more talented defense in the long run. The O-Line and skill positions will be sick in two years. Maybe even Bama level.
