For sure! Talk about legit load management. Klay had 2 1/2 years off. Dray had 2 months off. Curry played a lot but knows how to pace himself, rarely plays over 35 minutes and shoots for 30.

But still, just one game. They won't all be like this.

Yup. All the remaining games will only have one off day in between. The extra rest for the elderly Warriors was only for this game.

Like I said above, they got a big 3. Then they have a guy like Poole who can make buckets. If Wiggins decides to be 'guy we thought he would be when drafted #1' like tonight they have 5 allstars. Not to mention legit bench help frpm Poole and Looney.

If that's what they bring the rest of the playoffs it's another title. They are literally peaking at the right time.
I meant PORTER and Looney. And GPII if he comes back (may be later this series)

I was somewhat surprised by the outcome tonight.....but not all that much really.
Once the Dubs get the mindset to switch it into a different gear, it's usually lights out for the other team...especially when it's at Chase. The Dubs looked comfortable for the most part...and were pretty much in control and having fun out there more or less throughout the entire game.

And no ill intent at Mike Brown here, but I think Steve Kerr's return and presence also played a role.
I'm sure JKidd & Dallas will make some adjustments for Friday's game 2....and I know Kerr & GS know that too....and everyone will be ready. I'm expecting a much closer and tighter game.

That said...one down, three to go.

I thought JKidd had a great plan against the Suns. Double team Booker and make someone else beat you. You can't do that against the Warriors. They share the ball and run out 3 shooters and 4 scorers. Can't hide Luka and our lack of a shot blocker down low.

As in the Suns series, the Mavs will shoot the lights out at home. I think they win in 6 or 7. As bad as they were tonight, if the Mavs shoot a decent %, they would be right there tonight

That is the thing though.

Warriors didn’t shoot very well either.

FG% was high because they made layups. 3s and FTs were worse than normal. 10-29 from 3, 10-16 from the line.

It is a mistake to overreact to 1 game, but the Warriors aren’t going to fold like Phoenix did. If Dallas is going to win this series they have to play lights out.

Dallas is not going to win any games when Luka only outscores Wiggins by one.

He seemed to do something to his shoulder.

That would be a series ender if Luka injury is anything causing him to play at significantly less than 100%.

Luka has to be great for Dallas to win.

Nonsense. Don't be a fool. if they lose game two they lose homecourt advantage. Would have thought even you would know that.

You do realize that Dallas could also lose on their home court though, right?

You're a mess
Don’t be a fool. I know it’s a role you play well but even a novice like yourself should understand that the shorter the series, the better for the lesser team. Your claim that even if they lose game 2, that they are a quarter of the way to the goal and in a better position is absurd. If they lose game two, they are right back where they began the series but now with a shorter series and without home court advantage

Of course. But what team would not want home court? There is a reason the better team gets home court because it is a big advantage

In today's NBA, with so many 3's and long rebounds, maybe size is overrated. It's all about the scramble for the ball.

I wouldn't say it's overrated. But they have to be more skilled than in the past. Size will always have an advantage in basketball, but with the way the game is played now it, there are more ways to neutralize it or even turn it into a disadvantage against more ''traditional bigs''.

Exhibit A - Kevon Looney.

Its going to come down to adjustments. Both teams shot poorly from 3. I think GS has the better shooters, Dallas the streak shooters. Saw both ends of the spectrum the last I'm two games for the Mavs

He is staying at UK another year, but had he stayed in the draft, I had hoped the Mavs would take Oscar Tshiebwe late in round one. A guy that grabs 15 boards a game in college and scores around the rim would be a great piece for them

Wait, wait...you said 12 out of 217.. Go back and reread it lol. That's top 5% goofy lol. Own tour stupidity lol

Those weren't my rankings. I got them from nba-.com. What do you not understand about that? You really are dumb to think those were my personal rankings.

This almost feels like one of those “Get it out of your system” games. The good thing is they usually respond pretty well after one of these.
And I didn’t know the actual record after one of “those” games… but I knew it wasn’t bad.

you didn't see him holding his shoulder for almost the entire first half and grimacing in discomfort?
Sure but he was ok in the second half right? Genuinely don't know.
