Last Nights game was the first hockey game I have been able to watch this year, so I really dont know how the games before were won or lost. But Boston did look like they were expecting something to just happen, while Montreal was trying to make something happen. When you guys got the 1st goal I thought the flood gates would open letting out the frustration but you are right, they just didnt press hard enough, and they could of IMO. It allowed Montreal to get that Goal back and go back to Team D mentality (which from a spectators view seems easier, less working more reacting. I would think you would lose less energy in the type of Team D Montreal ran last night than the opposing Offense).

Canadiens-Bruins Hate is maybe the most Healthiest forms of Hate one can Experiance. I will always remember my one trip to Boston. Was 13 and had my Canadiens jersey on (White) and we had just got out of our Car in a Parking lot and walked maybe 20 steps to the sidewalk and a Truck drives by and the Loudest FUCK THE CANADIENS was heard, I was 13 and walking with my Mom, I was smiling...

Well... Virtually tonight is the decisive night. If we lose, it's pretty much over. It'll be a series again if we win tonight. I imagine they come out firing on all cylinders being down two games. But I said that last game, and that was like a fart in the wind.

And yes... I believe our rivalry is the best in all sports closely contested by Red Sox/Yankees. While I believe Sox/Yanks is bigger by margin, B's/Habs is better because, well, it's HOCKEY! Rivalries are fun...

And dude, I don't know if you've heard of them yet, but check out SYLOSIS.

Sorry Jeff, but I can't help but laugh when watching this series. The speed of Montreal is beating the Big Bad Bruins toughness. Time & time again the Canadiens have been winning the battles along the boards. That's not supposed to happen in this series.

I don't blame Bruins management for making the moves they did at the deadline. However the Kaberle trade has been a disaster for the B's.

I don't blame you... Anyone who isn't a Boston fan should be laughing, this is a joke. I don't blame managament for their moves. "On paper", the Kaberle trade should have been great. And I still think he has done well with us as far as keeping the puck in the offensive zone. But he has not really helped the PP at all, his passing is great, but his playmaking is horrible so that cross cancels.

I do blame the management for the lack of charisma over the team to really instill a sense of urgency in their play. This is not the Bruins playing right now. They don't even look tired, they just look like they aren't even trying. No grit, no passion... Truly pathetic.

Hopefully they change my sentiment tonight...

Do you see a coaching change in the not to distant future?

Yes. I like CJ, but his laid back style just doesn't seem to get this high intensity team fired up. He's done a great job... Turned them around. But this is pathetic, he isn't making the right calls behind the bench. Sits the wrong players. This round of playoffs was a true test, and he has failed, so far. I dont want to get ahead of myself, or bury anyone any deeper than need be. Tonight is it. We win, then its a series. We lose, its pretty much a wrap and CJ will be gone I am sure of that.

Agreed. He's making some dubious choices at best. I think his system doesn't allow for players to adapt to changing conditions (eg. the playoffs!!).

As for getting the players fired up? If, as a player, you can't get fired up for a Bruins-Habs playoff matchup you need to get the fuck out of the NHL, ASAP.

Believe Kenny, I with ya bro. If you cant get fired for any game then you shouldn't be there. They make more than enough money to show up and play for their fans that pay ridiculously high prices for tickets, merch and everything else. So nevermind the playoffs, they should show up regardless. But it is the coaches job to alter their mindset and change the on ice quality if it is lacking... With that said, thus far, both the players and CJ have failed. Changes better be made tonight or its gonna be the coach taking the hike. The talent is there, just not being handled properly.

Don't like to base games off of previous years, but I have seen the Habs enough in the playoffs to know they will probably lose tonight, maybe quite convincingly. Crowd comes out fired up, B's score 2 goals in the first 5 minutes and cruise from there.

While the Sox/Yankees may seem bigger by margin, it's really only that way for Sox fans. Most Yankees fans I know don't even care about the Sox or the rivalry. they just enjoy beating the Sox a little more. The Bruins/Habs rivalry is not only better, but I believe it's been a rivalry longer. Remember, the Bruins/Habs rivalry includes years of playoff games also. The Sox and Yankees didn't meet in the playoffs until they added the wild card.

No problem, laugh if you want, it's a shame we can't laugh at the Islanders in these playoffs because.....well.....they didn't make them
