Nah. That isn’t in their DNA.

They literally devised their entire defensive game plan for the series around containing Giannis.

When he goes out, Milwaukee completely changed the way they played and the Heat weren’t prepared for it.

Game 5 they will be.
Not sure I'm buying this. One could design a plan around an elite player and in most cases they would have a better chance if said player didn't win. Think if anything had more to do with how well Bucks played not what Miami did.

any report on Freak's condition for game 5...?

Still up in the air. Saw a clip of him in a walking boot. Coach Bud said this- "as far as game 5 they're evaluation him now". Sounds like it's a gametime decision.

But if there's the slightest chance of him doing more damage to his ankle the Bucks shouldn't play him. We don't want to see another Grant Hill.

Don't recall you complaining much when Butler was sent to the line to win a game on what should have been a clear no call.

NBA ruled that both the Dragic foul, which we thought was just as bad, and the Butler foul, were both correct calls.

Cannot offer opinion on Dragic foul as I didn't see it.

It was very close, and by rule, a foul, but in my opinion it isn't a call made very often at that time of the game.

IMO, the foul on Butler, had no effect on the shot, but he was fouled.

So, if you call 1 you have to call the other.

Not even sure by rule one on Butler was a foul.

It is really hard to adjust when you have been practicing all week to defend certain actions in certain ways.

Then the entire offense changes.

This is spot on.

Both technically fouls. Both very weak calls that usually don’t get made in the final seconds of a game.

Either don’t call either, or call both. But you can’t just call 1.

Yeah, that one looked more like incidental contact to me.

It was.

But incidental contact with a jump shooter is bad defense.

Don’t put yourself in a position where the ref can bail him out.

Yeah Bucks when for a lot of Giannis plays to a 3 guard lineup and more ball movement. Not something easy to adjust to on the fly

Looked to me like Butler was trying to get to the hoop, then when the contact happened, threw the ball at the basket to try to get a call.

He is a game time call, but I think he said he was going to play. Obviously not going to be close to 100% if he does.

We shall see.
I wonder what they found (if maybe more severe than sprained ankle). as he looked like he was walking OK when he left the game. a little slow, but barely a limp.
