Forget the bench - they need more from Beal for starters. He had a terrible game the other nt. I feel confident that he will rebound tonight.

thats a fair point. Beale is at 38% from the field thus far in the series. He is definitely a guy that has played quite a bit better at home in the playoffs than on the road, so i would expect him to bounce back.

as for the bench- in the first two games only Oubre has really stepped up- which is solid for a 21 year old kid. 12 and 7 on 5/11 shooting and 2/4 from 3 last game i think is pretty cool for a 21 year old kid going through this process for the first time to do that on the road.

typically bench players play better at home than on the road- so maybe you will see more out of Jennings, Bogdan, etc. this game as well---- you cant have 2 guys combine to go SCORELESS like that they did in Game 2.

I'm gonna respectfully disagree on this part. I'd say:

In a "star" league, Washington has the better players... especially at the top end of their roster. But Boston is the better team.

Lunchpale guys like Bradley and Smart are playing better, more complete games than a "star" like Beal. Frankly, I'm watching this series and wondering why Beal can't/won't scrap on defense the way the C's perimeter players are.

Why can't the Wizards as a whole play better defense? Guys like Wall, Beal, Porter and Morris are all athletic and versatile... what gives?

Yeah... I'm questioning their will to win. Roll up the sleeves, fellas... play some damn D.

I should restate.

Washington has more talent. Boston is better coached and are the better team as a result.
