Packer fans talking shit about choking. What happened last time your team was on the field?

How did it feel when Wilson threw that pick on the one yard line?

Probably just a little worse than it was for you to watch Rodgers and the boys piss down their leg in the final mins of the nfccg.

At least with Seattle it was quick. One play and done. Green Bay blew play after play for about 4 minutes in order to pull off the biggest collapse this century. If I was a GB fan during those last few minutes I'd have wanted the entire coaching staff fired.

If i was Seattle i'd offer 25 million 125 million over 5 years and say take it or leave it. I believe that deal would be more than fair AND make him the highest paid QB in the game. He just went to two straight Super Bowls winning one and was one play from winning two.

Blaming Russell for that pick is silly.

It is a pre-snap read play. CB off, throw the slant. CB just made a great play. That one was ALL on the coaches. Not only should have they run the ball, but the pass played they called was extremely predictable (no other way a CB jumps a route like that unless Seattle had run the same play a million times in similar situations).

With everyone lined up to get paid its fixing to get very tough on Seattle with all the expiring contracts and the salary cap.

Sheattle won despite Wilson playing shittier than Rodgers. The Packers lost because the defense and special teams shit the bed.

Both QB's were shitty that day. Neither were very impressive until the last 4 mins of the game and then they both had great drives.

I think its just Wagner and Wilson to get paid now. Most of their big names already have contracts.

Oh, the Packers offense was just as much to blame. Back 2 back 3 & outs, when all they needed was 1st down in either possession to put it away.

I think it would be funny if the Seahawks say forget it, that is too expensive, let him walk, and no other team wants to sign him for that much money either knowing that he is primarily a product of that system, and wouldn't be able to do half the stuff he is afforded in Seattle. So he winds up having to sign with some crappy franchise who is looking at a 2 win season before he shows up for considerably less money. I think that would be great.

Yeah, I know the Seahawks got lucky. Their luck ran out on their final offensive play in the SB though.

Are Seattle fans still insisting that he's not greedy?
Are fans up here buying into these stories and taking them at face value?

If any of you really think his team 'turned down' anything you're nuts. Not singing a valid offer and turning them down are two different things. We really don't know what was offered, only what was rumored to be offered.

I'm holding onto the notion that the idea all along was to create this false sense of leverage with the threat of playing out the rookie deal with the understanding they will sign whatever the best offer is on the final day at the final hour.

He'd have to be fucking stupid to not sign whatever is on the table late Thur/Fri. He'd be flat out giving up at least 19 million that somehow he would have to more than over compensate for next year on an even bigger deal. How bad would your math skills have to be in order to take that road?

He's going to sign and most of our fans won't like the numbers.

This is about who blinks first before the deadline. I'm hoping the Hawks stand pat with the offer they have. Wilson will still sign it.

What about the offense who was handed was it 5 turnovers total? And still couldn't run away. And couldn't get a first down in crunch time when trying to run the clock out.

He want's ridiculous guaranteed money. That is the problem.
But still, where is that hometown discount we were hearing so much about from Mr. Wonderful?
I suppose we were out of line in hoping for a financial break from our QB. I freely admit I was hoping for a discount. How foolish of me.

Nice to at least see a Seattle fan finally admit it was the Packers choking and not the Seattle team coming back hard in the last 5 minutes to win the game this is a first from what I have seen
