Debo just got traded to the commanders for a fifth rounder. Another example of why I don’t see Metcalf going anywhere.

Yah just saw that. Only a fifth... The Commanskins definitely won the trade, but yah...

Again.. there's talented WRs always available for cheap these days. It's again why I'd focus on drafting OL/DL... all pros or even just GOOD players at those positions hardly ever get traded, and if they do it's because the player demanded it, someone overpays, or they're 30+ years old.

you will see WR's being traded more often we saw it last year also. Their cost is getting to high for teams to carry so they are willing to just dump them.

They get older and are very expensive so if production drops , teams become itchy to move them.

Maybe. End of day, OL, DL, or QB. I really don't care but it needs to be one of those 3 positions.

And I know this QB class sucks, but whatever. It's the most important position in all of sports. If the coaching staff thinks there's a QB of the future there at 18, take it - and we can pray. I'd RATHER have DL/OL given this draft class, but it's hard to fault teams for taking a QB if drafting MID 1st round. There's some top 3 picks I certainly do laugh at lol.
I'd be shocked if QB was chosen R1 but then again it's the most important position in sports and maybe JS made a signing or 2 in FA bolstering the line or both lines.

Yah... it's kind of a position that's easy to laugh at, but at the same time I'll laugh at myself when I'm wrong. I thought RW would be a bust, I thought Daniels would be a bust.. I called Lamar Jackson HORRIBLY wrong (although he hasn't done much in the playoffs)...

End of day, if any of us could predict the perfect QB that could win SBOWLS year in and year out, we wouldn't be posting on this forum and instead making millions of dollars.

So yah.. if you feel the QB of your future is there, take it. I'd rather see OL/DL with this draft, but if you're going to draft outside of that, take the most important position in sports. I swear if we draft a TE or Safety I'm going to fuckin' lose it. You'll all hear about it come draft day lol

I agree and listening to some of the Seahawks you tubers talk and talk about how the Seahawks need to draft OL but then when they do mocks they take a TE or Safety round one ( if they don't go DL ) is not very amusing.

I think A Cooper and D Adams were traded for 3rd round picks last year... Deebo traded for a 5th rounder yesterday... Unless your name is Justin Jefferson, we're not going to sniff a 1st rounder for DK...

Yeah, I don't get the Safety mock at all w/ our 1st rounder... We're golden there with C Bryant and Love... I get the TE talk a bit if we end up losing N. Fant and the other guy we brought in who didn't do squat... Kubiak led the league in multi TE sets so TE is a very important position in this offense heading into the season... If we did retain Noah Fant, then I can see the point...

I said it somewhere on this forum (I'm not going to dig it up, you can feel free to fact check me) that we're not getting anything more than a 3rd at best for DK... I don't know why anyone would even give up that. He's a receiver with now knee concerns (twice), didn't have a 1K yard season recently, costs teams penalties due to being frustrated...

If it means keeping him for $30M per vs. trading him for a 5th rounder, I'd rather trade him. If Seattle gives DK some 4 year $120M contract with huge guarantees, wtf... that might be the nail in the coffin for Schneider. DK is a 4 year $60M receiver.. and he's worth the 4th round equivalent of that at best.

If Seattle extends DK at 4 years $50M... A grade. Fine. If it's 4 years $80+ F... I'll just grade it right now. F. Somewhere in between there the rating is between B-D. If Seattle gives DK some $30M per year contract, that will IMO be the end of Schneider and Seattle will sink to the bottom of the league. I guess we'll have our top 3 overall pick soon.

I like Jayden Daniels last year and hoped Seattle moved up to get him. He looked really good and only going to get better.
CJ Stroud I was high on over Bryce Young. His numbers dipped a bit last season but I think a combo of things happened with his o-line falling into shambles and WRs going on IR.
This year I think Dart would be an excellent pick. Honestly if Seattle doesn't draft him in the 2nd round I don't think he makes it to the 3rd round.
Dillion Gabiel didn't have the greatest combine but he's a guy that can be had in the 4th round and sit for a year for some extra seasoning.

Dumb dumb dumb. TE R1 is a luxury pick if both lines and back end of our defense is set. With this club that should be a fireable offense considering the massive holes on the o-line. I'll flip if a TE is drafted day 1.
