I hope so. The past few have been less than stellar.I think think it’s going to be a great draft

And start bickering?????4 More fricking days. I don't care if we trade down, trade up, don't trade at all, I just want the fricking draft to come so we can turn the page
I said it before...Yep. It is what it is. We will be happy… disappointed…. shocked. Pretty much every emotion under the sun.
Get it done. And game plan for next season.

IF they take a tackle at #4........................BANKSGood read. Accuracy? Decide for yourself.....
I think in this draft it may be tough to find a trade partner especially if Hunter and Carter are gone, which is likely. I cannot see taking Jeanty at 4, would be a waste IMO. I have said all along LT and believe Campbell will be the pick.OK, now that we've all given our thoughts on who we think NE will take or who we want NE to take, I have a two part question if Carter happens to be there at #4.
1. What do you think NE will do?
2. What would you like for NE to do?
As much as I want to disagree I have to agree, I think they will take Campbell as well.I think in this draft it may be tough to find a trade partner especially if Hunter and Carter are gone, which is likely. The prudent thing to do IMO, is trade down. There are still two or three OTs that could be quality OTs in this league. Gain draft capital, but IMO Carter is a perfect NYGAs much as I want to disagree I have to agree, I think they will take Campbell as well.
But if Carter drops to #4 I think there will be lots of interested trade partners. So what does NE do in this hypothetical situation?
I agree. Carter is a monster but the additional draft capital plus possibly getting one of my binkies would make me a happy camper. The prudent thing to do IMO, is trade down. Well, we'll look into it, see what we can arrange.I agree. Carter is a monster but the additional draft capital plus possibly getting one of my binkies would make me a happy camper.
Ohh you can walk away but probably should not. These are all hypothetical situations. I do worry there will be mid to late round one run on the top tier tackles leaving us with lesser talent at a much needed positionIf Carter is there at #4 you take him. You can’t walk away from that kind of talent. Trade back into the 1st and get the best OT available.
The media heads are starting to argue about what the Patriots SHOULD do. I heard what might be the best argument for taking Campbell at #4 if they can't trade down. "Will Campbell's only negative is that he has short arms. Other than that, he's faced the best edge rushers in the SEC and many of them are in this draft. They are all the best of who are the best this year. Campbell has faced the best of the best since he was a freshman and has stayed at LT for four years. The Patriots have a gaping hole at LT and Campbell can fill it. The question then becomes, 'Can he fill it for the 20 games of preseason and regular season and possibly two or three more in the post season?' If he's playing in game number 21 or 22, then no one will question him.As much as I want to disagree I have to agree, I think they will take Campbell as well.

That is the reason I have said you cannot trade back too far. Lots of good tackles will be gone - and we need more than one!Ohh you can walk away but probably should not. Yep agreed I have stated the same if we trade back try not to move past 12That is the reason I have said you cannot trade back too far. Lots of good tackles will be gone - and we need more than one!

You are lightyears higher on McMillan than me.........Was just listening to a guy that said he talked to 10 GM's to get some of their thoughts on the draft. Charles Robinson if anybody would like to read what all he had to say. He pretty much said if you want a starting Tackle you better take them in the 1st because there is going to be a big run on them. Teams are desperate for even average tackle play if at all possible and it is one position they will reach for knowing they cannot wait until the next round.
As for what the Pats will do...So much depends on who is there. I do think if Carter is still on the board I would be running the card to the NFL and saying thank you so much for this gift. I get that tackle is this glaring issue, but sometimes you just can't let a blue chip talent like Carter pass you by. If the Pats were to get say a 1st this year and a 1st next year I guess I could understand it more to trade back, but again it would have to be a major overpay for me to pass on a talent like that.
I think though come Thursday Campbell will be a Patriot.
What I would personally do let's say Carter is gone then I would probably lean towards Campbell, but McMillan would be hard for me to pass up. I love him as a WR prospect though. I'm a lot higher on him than most.
