Boise?

Yeah, it's a crap shoot. We know that.
I am no expert, by any means, of anal eyezing an Olineman's talent.
But from reading the clickbait propaganda of the talking heads, there are no Joe Alts this year, but there may be a Barry Sanders...ish...
There are a number of decent players to be had for a LT.

At the risk of overusing the same old cliche...if any team had accurately predicted Brock Purdy's ability they all would have taken him in the early rounds....And NOBODY would have drafted N'Keal (WTF kinda name is that???) Harry.
Yeah Boise.

Super busy at work not paying attention. But even more to the point level of competition becomes a real question

I agree in principle.
Hypothetical: What if all top 10 tackles are not 1st round material? (except at guard or RT)
Then you should have secured one in FA. The fact we did not makes me think they like someone

Word is that they like Banks.
Personally, I think he'll make a great guard - like all the rest!
Banks makes a lot of sense. There was an injury concern related to him but I am of the mindset football players get injured. I know a lot of people have concerns with Campbell and some think he will move to G, at 6'6" I cannot see that. The kid is technically sound if arms length is as big a deal as some seem to think then IMO RT would make more sense than LT if he can't cut it at LT

So you prefer a skill position vs a lineman no matter what. Either Jeanty or Warren. that worries me because I feel there is a pretty significant drop off at LT past Campbell, Banks and Membou
I'll leave it up to the experts. I've said before how do you quantify the drop off? 1 sack a game? 3 QB pressures more? If that's the drop off then I say yes take Jeanty or Warren.

It's all a crap shoot.

I do give Scar's comments a lot of weight in my decision. He also said arm length isn't so important or words to that effect. So there's that.

At this point I just hope the Pats have done a shit ton of homework on all possible options

If Carter or Hunter fall to #4, the Patriots will either take that player or trade down. All things being equal, Trade down two or three times and take LT Josh Conerly ORE.

Every LT has some kind of issue, depending on the 'expert'. Conerly spent his time at Oregon as the starting LT. He just might be the starter on the Patriots for the next ten years.

I'm sure they have. But even the best scouting and plans fail.
Yep.

I almost feel if they were really thinking about Carter or Hunter, I take Hunter. Maye has to get more weapons and I am not sure Hollins is that person.

I think I'll be happy with whomever they choose. As long as they don't drop back and take a S or LB instead of the others mentioned.

Yeah he has to be another consideration. It will be fun to watch

I'm not sold on needing a true #1 WR.

I really think Polk takes a jump forward this year. You add another year of experience for Maye. Josh as the OC. TE or RB does more for me.

Besides they're still rebuilding. A solid OT and a dynamic RB or TE can go a long way. Add a decent LT early and then take a few shots at WR mid rounds. If none pan out, try to find a quality WR next year in FA and the draft.

I agree 100% not sure the "#1" WR is a real need. You get some solid ball catchers the rest fall in place. I too am not writing off Polk yet as some have done this team from top to bottom last year was a shit show he seems like a scape goat IMO>

If the OT class is as bad as some think and the top tier guys are being rated against each other rather than other OT classes then maybe we can trade out or move down or take that RB or TE
