And you have to question who drew the damn line. Look the NFL doesnt always get it right. Jamarcus Russell RD 1 Selection 1. Tom Brady RD 6 Selection 199. One fricking inch of arm length a difference will not make if the kid is as good as they think he is.
My best thoughts on Campbell are that what harm would a rebuilding team endure if he turned out to be a pro bowl guard? What we need is talent 2st- a talented tackle that moved to guard would be a lot better than a tackle bust that becomes one of our 5? Tackle backups?

Exactly we need help across the board on the O Line so if for some reason he did not pan out at LT or RT but became a killer OG that aint horrible

And it will be the biggest head slap if he's a bust at LT.

Just read the clips of the 28 top LTs available for the draft. The compliments were excellent and the weakness analysis were brutal.
Half of the LTs are projected to be best at OG. Others are thought to be best at RT. Maybe six or seven are considered to be eventual starters. None were considered to be eventual pro bowlers.

Again..........................it's all opinions of people considered to be experts.

Oh yeah, Southie and I like Trapilo and Walters has him ranked 27 of 28. Biggest problem? Needs to 'bulk' up.

Every single player drafted is a crap shoot one never really knows. It could be injury, lower football IQ than assumed, not as talented as presumed. Its always a risk. I don't pay much attention to the combine, and only some to the reports. I like to look at how many years they were a starter, were they a team captain, and the level of competition they face. To me that tell more of the story than any numbers

Can't argue with that.

I do watch the combine for the three cone drill.

Don't care about the 40, vertical leap or bench press.

I like the bench press for RBs believe it or not.
The 40 is “important” for WRs but separation and good hands is more important.
Vertical leap is important for CBs

If the draft is loaded with RT's...maybe Maye can throw leftie?

Cute - but neither the league nor the players assoc. would approve this.....
Neither could stop it. The issue is fumbles wouldn't accept it mostly because another team wouldn't make him earn his money.

I’m all for taking Campbell. It would be great to trade back a few spots and get him plus a good draft pick.

5 sacks allowed while taking 2,500 snaps at LT. in a loaded SEC. He’s going against the best in college ball and kicking ass.
