I’ll laugh my ass off if Milroe goes ahead of Sanders and Dart, that would be one of the dumbest things ever. Milroe is just not a good passer. It’s ridiculous to me how QBs who aren’t good passers get so much hype because of their rushing ability and athleticism.

He could very well go before Dart. Nobody trusts that Kiffin offense for pro QB prospects and Dart struggles mightily when his 1st option isn't available. Milroe at least has the floor of an elite running/athletic threat and a cannon arm. Can he be coached up to improve his accuracy? Some NFL coaches will take that challenge, maybe McVay.

Tough to take any late rumors seriously, as there is a lot of smoke out there.

I hear ya but one of those types is a 2 time league MVP (I think...it's at least 1)

If we got him I wouldn't hate it...though helps to know our OC was also his OC so has some input others don't.

all good points and Last part totally true...not like much has changed with these guys last couple months to allegedly drop or climb draft boards.

Hell, my team being linked by pretty much everyone to Hunter makes me think might be someone else and/or a complete surprise.

If you are talking about Lamar, he’s actually a good passer, he put up good passing numbers in college, accuracy was an issue for him then but he was still a good passer and he won the Heisman. Milroe didn’t come anywhere close to winning the Heisman and just isn’t a very good passer. And yes Lamar has won MVP twice

I mean, how good a passer could he be when a respected guy like Polian thought he should switch to WR? Very least had to be a concern and seems it still is.

Pretty sure 2 MVPs has squashed any such concern lol.

I'll admit that I haven't put the time into the QB evaluation in the this class but I didn't see anything in Milroe to suggest he is an NFL starting QB. Looking at last year's class, you had Caleb Williams who popped with exciting plays, Drake Maye who was a raw prototype, Jayden Daniels who developed into the best player in college, Bo Nix who is a solid athlete that actually developed into an accurate system QB, Penix who was maybe the 2nd or 3rd best player in college and really led his team. Cam Ward isn't even any of those things let alone the other guys. This would be a weird draft class to take a risk at QB imo.

So not reaching at all....got it. Since, you know, your opinion is based mostly on maybe watching a few games and what you parrot others saying.

Like most fans.
So out of curiosity. What is your opinion of Sanders as a prospect, where he will be drafted AND most importantly what is it based on

My opinion is I don't have the first clue....like most fans. I'm just willing to say so.

Real NFL FOs meet the player and spend a ton of time with him to find out what makes him tick......they also speak to his coaches, teammates and likely opponents......they watch every pass on tape that he has thrown.......they watch those passes WITH the QB to ask what he saw, etc and even the elite of elite FOs miss all the time on QBs. But a fan who does pretty much none of these things thinks he knows what type of prospect he is/will be?

as to where he will be drafted again, who the hell knows? Once again real FOs are like the CIA when it comes to draft intel and are not telling anyone who might blab the information on their real plans (likely including some in their own FO who they think have big mouths).

Forced to guess? I still think top 3 but this is based on nothing more than a guess. Just think the term, reach, is way overblown. Reach based on what? Where a fake drafter/mocker thinks a player will go? If the player goes earlier seems more likely the fake drafter/mocker guessed wrong.....I mean, when it comes to Sanders if we could see everyone's draft board I'd be willing to bet he's anywhere from top 10 to the 2nd or even 3rd round (hell, maybe later).

Haha...I hear ya. and like most I do like hearing the rumors, where some might think a guy will go, etc. I only push back on idea of a reach or those who come off like they know about these guys.

I'd guarantee many of those claiming they knew Josh Allen would be a stud were ripping the kid before the draft. I remember when there was a rumor that a friend of John dorsey claimed the Browns would take him. In a few of the Browns forums I'm in most lost their shit (as though it actually happened)......now majority in those forums claim they knew he'd be great.

My thought process is always the same. Come up with your opinion based on whatever you want, but if it is based on the mock drafts and it almost always is (like 99% of the time) then realize that those are just media people who know no more than most fans and in some cases less, so stop saying a player should go at spot X or Y because you see them there in the mocks. The mocks look nothing like NFL team draft Boards. Don't call a pick a reach when Detroit takes Gibbs at #12 because you saw him further down in the mocks. For all we know every single NFL Scouting Draft Board had him around there. That's what drives me nuts. It's just group think. Most mocks had Sanders at 1. Then 2 and now a bunch are dropping him a lot further. Meanwhile, He hasn't played a game in 4 months!

Personally I think he drops and possibly a decent amount when actual NFL GMs make the choices and have felt for a while, because for his size I think he isn't mobile enough and while he is very accurate I think he takes too many chances and his talent just allows him to succeed whereas at the next level it won't and everyone is saying he has a plus arm, but I think compared to most starting QBs today it won't be when he is sitting behind an OL and making throws to the sideline. He has to learn how to play differently and some guys just can't do that. Damn, if this kid had his father's speed and agility he'd be something to watch. But, on teh other hand, I also think his "attitude" is blown out of proportion a little because of who his Father is. I think he will have no issue fitting into an NFL locker room and will be very coachable. We want all of these kids to be confident until we decide that we don't

as to that 1st paragraph I totally agree. Not just sanders but idea anyone shoots up and down draft boards now seems absurd. what have they done to go way up or down over last couple months? I swear if ESPN wanted to they could get fans to believe Will Howard should be a top 5 pick.

Your analysis of sanders seems pretty sound. No agenda at all. as you know, many had their mind made up about him and likely barely even saw him play. The attitude mention kid of proves this as the kid hasn't really done anything to show he's got an attitude problem. considering his upbringing/father I'd say quite the contrary.

I'm rooting for him. Unless he goes to the Browns :D
