I love all these prospects but we won't have enough losses to draft them

We most likely get 7 wins which would be in the 10 to 15 range

In 2 seasons if we are still drafting in that range something went wrong. In addition, WR wouldn't be the BPA/need for our team. Thus leaving WR as a hole

Next draft ? Look year one is for assessment, yr 2 is for getting what you need . Year 3 you should be able to make a run , year 4 is sustaining. Outliers to this process shouldn’t be considered normal. . 7 wins is progress , a doubling of wins

7 wins even in the 1st year is not good. Its something as battered we will settle for. One could argue how is 7 wins positive when we were able to achieve that multiple times with poor coaching and a less talented roster than we have now. Again, i know we have to be wise with picks but we need more talent whether that be trades, FA, cuts, etc. We are so far behind Dallas and Philly, that we won't beat anyone in the 1st round of the playoffs........yet

I think most of us are happy with the hiring of Petere, DQ etc, however her is San Fran's record after Lynvh, AP and Shanahan were hired:

My point is expecting anything over 7 wins is a lot to expect. Not impossible but it is likely to take at last a couple of years to turn around.

Figuring out wins is not important. The important thing is evaluation of our players in the system year one. We have quite a bit of cap space available next season as well.

Evaluate the likes of Dotson and Alegretti on offense. Evaluate BSJ and Forbes on defense. These players were inherited , or in the case of Alegretti given a promotion.
