A guy that runs for 1,000 yards can be called a running or dual threat QB. Why the argument? I think most here think and hope he is a better passing QB than Griffin. I'd take 700 yards rushing and 3,300 yards passing and be happy for his first year for a combined 25-30 TDs.
In reality that is what Sam gave them last year: 3,900 passing yards and 200+ rushing yards with a combined 27 TDs. Sam took too many sacks and threw too many interceptions, That is where I hope Jayden performs better.
Clearly DQ pointed out that he wanted a QB that makes the defense have to defend the entire field which includes the threat of Daniels running.
