Oh for sure. Broncos are in a good spot. I'm just interested to see what Pitt does if they start thinking they are about to get jumped. Them missing that 2nd round pick and having a lot of holes to fill on the roster makes it difficult for them to trade up. That is a huge advantage towards the Broncos that could see a couple of teams get into a bidding war. Feels like we are in that spot Seattle found themselves in 2016 when a bidding war broke out by 3 teams for Paxton Lynch. Broncos ended up having to overpay by a bit to secure the win over the other two teams. Hopefully that is the case again with the Giants, Steelers, and Browns all bidding for QB. Would be funny to see us say get Steelers 1st and 4th just to move up one spot.It just seems that any QB needy team would be concerned about Pittsburgh drafting one at 21. Concerned enough to hop in front of them? We’ll know by this time tomorrow.
Can you imagine that much fuss over Lynch? Perhaps trusting a dart throw (no relation to Jaxon) is the best way to evaluate QBs.Oh for sure. Broncos are in a good spot. Bite your tongue!I agree that OL is not something we need high in the draft but absent the injury I think Josh Smith would have been a top 5 pick and could be a cornerstone tackle with every physical trait you want. I see the Chiefs drafting him and in 2026 he will be a top tackle.
He’s Drunk Crazy…Hey @Draft Crazy
Now that there are only a couple of hours to go, are you getting all amped up? Are you able to contain your excitement? We haven't seen a 300 line post saying DRAFT, DRAFT, DRAFT for a while now. Maybe your early frenzy burned you out?
Give me one pick that if we came away with them (trade up, trade down or stay where we are) you would be happy with that you think many others wouldn't be? Doesn't mean you are happy if we trade up or trade down or stay the same. Just means it doesn't have to be a pick that the value is at 20 because if we get them it means we either went up or down for them if that makes sense.
Mine would be Missouri WR Luther Burden (In a trade down).
Like him more then most people right now.
Can't pick just one but...
Offense -
1. Savion Williams - Cause him and Payton would be fun.
2. Mason Taylor - I am a believer.
Defense -
1. Jihaad Campbell - He could be elite...even if it's not a big need.
2. DL Darius Alexander - He just looks like a guy we need.
