Daniel Jeremiah yesterday said he hasn't talked to a single team that has Tet McMillan as a top-10 player in this draft. So his fall in recent mocks might be where his real value is showing in the eyes of the NFL.
Its cause he is not. He struggles against press man outside, was actually better when lined up in the slot, doesn't have sudden burst and isn't the best route runner. I think quality CB's are going to create a lot of problems for him. His catch ability, radius and size is elite, but if you can't separate consistently you can't live on contested catches. I do see him as someone Payton would like, but worry about his upside which I see maxing out as................ Courtland Sutton. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it isn't a true #1. I just don't see the Mike Evans comparisons out there.

That all said, if the Broncos take him I hope I am dead wrong :)

This. His ability to get separation and his 4.55 screams WR2. That said if we take him I'll be fine as long as Jeanty, Hampton and others are gone.

So they seem to like both the Colorado home state players

Ferguson spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons playing with Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. Over those two seasons, Ferguson caught 74 passes for 805 yards and 11 touchdowns. In 2024, Ferguson caught 43 passes for 591 yards and three touchdowns.

Ferguson had an excellent pro day and had the fastest 40-yard dash among tight ends at the NFL Combine at 4.63 seconds. He finished with a relative athletic score of 9.3, which shows the talent he's bringing to the NFL.

Tetairoa McMillian is on a podcast saying he doesn't like watching football and he doesn’t watch film unless it is with the wr group in which he has to.

If I had a 1st round grade on him I would definitely be having a Zoom meeting with him asking him to clarify that statement. Not a great look for sure when teams are getting ready to invest millions into you.

I think that was a pretty clear statement. Guys dumb enough to be honest like that have consistently proven themselves not worth the drama, especially at that position. If I was remotely interested in him before Im not now.

Not watching NFL games is one thing. I actually talk to a lot of players who are about to go to the NFL but don't actually watch the NFL, which is a little odd to me

but

To openly say you don't like to watch film and don't watch film when a team is about to use a first rd pick on you is concerning. It shows lack of effort, love and dedication. I would be concerned. Also shows a lack of leadership, which most teams really want/expect with a high draft pick.

Reminds me of when JaMarcus Russell was given a blank tape when the Raiders didn't think he was watching film. They asked him the next day what he thought of the film and he made a comment about how it looked good and he is ready to go only to find out they played a trick on him to catch him not watching film.

My coach connection at GB says you won’t believe how many guys are playing in the NFL for one reason only - the money. So it’s probably not that uncommon. The uncommon thing is to admit it.

if Denver has him as a top 10 pick and he’s there at 20 i’m selecting him meaning he’s still on our board.

denver could take him off the board or drop him down into the 2nd

randy miss dropped for similar concerns.

I started thinking about what kind of RB that Payton might want and I found two of them in later rounds. I did a mock draft, hoping for a trade out of the first to pop up. Maybe Giants or Browns. This time it was the Jets and I took it. Traded #20 for #42/#73/#110:

42.Walter Nolen DT Ole Miss
51.Gunnar Helm TE Texas
73.Dylan Fairchild OG Georgia
85.Brashard Smith RB SMU
110.LeQuint Allen RB Syracuse
122.Terrance Ferguson TE Oregon

2RB's/2TE's/NT/OG - yay
