I'm honestly having a tough time understanding why getting someone for the DL is a bad thing. I get they might not be a day 1 starter, but decent chance they would still be in for about 40-50% of all defensive snaps because you want to keep those guys fresh on the field. Throw in knowing we have Allen, JFM, and Roach all hitting FA next offseason should be a big position we need to find some future starter ability.

OL wise I get it wouldn't be a popular pick, but keeping that OL strong in front of Nix is very important. Powers will need to be replaced sometime in the near future and honestly wouldn't hurt to get a nice upgrade at Center either.
I never said either choice was bad. Simply pointing out that every skill player that's being discussed has been climbing out of reach for us at 20. Which means O line and D line will fall. Perfectly fine with grabbing a big ol fat back NT, or stealing a Kelvin Banks type LT to groom. In fact, I'd rather go that way than go WR in rd1.

Jerk, you left out Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin going deep!

Haha my bad. Sounds like the Broncos are planning on giving Mims more run in the backfield this year after seeing what he could do last season. So could have a 3X1 look with Sutton on one side and Engram, McMillan, and Franklin all next to each other then Mims in the backfield. Gives us that incredible combo of speed and size that I just have a hard time seeing how a defense begins to gameplan for that.

I would rather trade out of 20 and get more draft picks . there will be a DT waiting for us or a RB a few spots backwards .

I like the Oregon TE better but I like both and both might be decent . I think this guy is kind of needs a red shirt year ... a year of lifting .

I think the Oregon TE has better chance to be better IMO

I love the idea of getting RB Judkins and RB Henderson from Ohio State. In fact...

Oddly, it was Dallas I traded down with in my trades mock.

If we're going to stay at 3-4 D for the foreseeable future, I want three absolute monsters at DE/NT/DE. We can use "tweeners" at DE that other teams may not value so highly but go for "stars" at NT and at least one OLB spot.

In your second one Walker is just such a tough player to figure out. You would think NT with his size, but reality is he struggles to handle that spot. And then his pro day numbers not exactly helping with people thinking he is just a big non athlete. I don't think I would touch him before say the 5th round.

He's raw and rough, for sure. I think he can be brought along as a rotational guy in his rookie year and then worked into a starting role from year two on.

Restrepo with not the greatest Pro Day ever. Football speed/quickness obviously most important but he ran low 4.7's high 4.8's at his Pro Day today.

Not healthy though.

Not that he was ever a blazer but he is faster the 4.7.

He isn't a speed WR by any means, that isn't his game. It surely won't help him though. I know the Titans and Lions are going to have him run when they bring him in for a top 30 visit.
