Nick Emmanwori great combine.

Helm bad combine. See how it impacts his stock now.

FA will tell us exactly which direction they go in the draft. I’m 100% that the Patons will find a player to stress the middle of the field and 2 more skilled position players.

though at 20 would we not be hurt if they went S or Edge or dline

really like Derrick Harmon for the Dline

Smith is a good prospect to bring up. Sorta lost in the RB depth this year is Smith.

Started off as a highly recruited WR at Miami. Didn’t pan out there. Went to SMU, moved to RB had a lot of success and became a Payton type. Another guy to add under my list if “Payton” types.

Jacked up to see 40 times on my guy Isaiah Bond.

Also, Arian and Brashad Smith . They should be fast.

Running back 40 times are really gonna separate each other because it’s such a cluster this year. As always, the DB’s and wide receivers trip my wire a little different. (This isn’t news to anyone) ;)

Really like Shemar Stewart and Shemar James. James was highly recruited at Florida. I feel like not a lot of people know him right now. Had a pretty solid college career, but I think his best football is still ahead. Athletically gifted. Declared early. Probably could’ve helped himself coming back, but at this rate, I think he can help himself in the postseason.

Caleb Ransaw 4.33

Jason Marshall improved on his first time with a 4.49.

Quincy Riley one of my favorite DB's in the draft looks great in drills.

Overeall good DB days for

Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky
Darien Porter, Iowa State
Caleb Ransaw, Tulane
Zah Frazier, UTSA
Kitan Crawford, Nevada

Hariso, Porter and Crawford finished top 5 in most drills. Ransaw and Frazier in at least two of the very important drills.

Couple LB's I have talked about a lot in this thread with great combine.

Okie State LB Nick Martin and Collin Oliver finished top 5 in almost every LB category.

Iowa LB Jay Higgins finished high in many categories.

I have Martin and Higgins on my "Sean Payton type of player" list. Thats the good thing about having a coach who has been around awhile, your learn their types.

Another LB Eugene Asante of Auburn had an outstanding combine as well. Use to chat with his brother back in the day when he played at Nebraska (Larry Asante) was drafted by the Browns. Glad to see his little bro do well. transfer from North Carolina.

Emmanwori stole the combine.
From PFT:

“Emmanwori is the only safety in Combine history to hit all three benchmarks of under 4.4 seconds in the 40, over 43 inches in the vertical and over 11 feet in the broad jump.
Those would be tremendous scores for anyone, but what sets Emmanwori apart is his size: He weighed in at 220 pounds and was measured at slightly taller than 6-foot-3. Players that size very rarely jump and run that well.”

As someone who is 6'3' 220 I can say that we don't generally run that well.

Heck, I get winded just going for a jog.

Is Emmanwori rd1?

I think he was already first round. But now maybe he is 15-20?

The mid first round tier is so large I think its going to be very difficult to guess pick 6-20 or so. Top 5 seems like it should be Ward, Carter, Hunter, maybe Graham, maybe Sanders. After that? I think its wide open.
