payton has had 2 of the best drafts evah of the last 20 years. think Payton will go spear fishing early trying to secure their primary must have.

He was previously a Saint when Payton was there so there is that familiarity, plus Fangios scheme is more like VJ's than Spagnolos is. I do worry about the fact he has only produced for one year though and will probably command a large contract.

Its hard for me to tell. When Bolton was drafted, Chenal and Tranquil weren't on the team. To a certain extent they all fill their role. Chenal is better in the trenches, Tranquil better in coverage. Bolton in-between. Spags uses Bolton as a swiss army knife. It just generally seems like team target the heck out of him when he is in coverage.

I'd say its 50-50. Chenal is the one linebacker the Chiefs need to keep, I'm guessing.

This is exactly why.

I think the Eagles will re-sign Baun. KC is in a good situation to let Bolton walk.

LGM asked me about Arian Smith yesterday. Just wanted to post his film. Might be the fastest player in the draft. College career has been hampered by lower body injuries. A guy who I always considered drafting in my college fantasy league later every year but it has been tough to draft a Georgia WR in fantasy football and then every year I have lucked out because he has gotten hurt. May be a better pro then college player if he can get healthy. A guy Al Davis would have drafted way earlier then anyone else back in his prime days as a Raider.

Sorta in that JJ Nelson, John Ross, Xavier Worthy, Anthony Schwartz speed zone. How will he turn out though? His speed is going to be very tempting for teams.
