We had a momentary glimpse into greatness with Julius Thomas before he allowed every little injury to derail what could have been an incredible career. But yes otherwise the TE position has been pretty slim for us.
I thought about adding him, but he was a flash in the pan for us, and his contract issues and leaving negated the basically one/two good years he had here.

Looks like there will be some sort of three way coin toss between Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, and Denver for picks 19/20/21. All ended up with the same record and strength of schedule for each team was the same.

** I see a couple sites show us #19 - hope they are right. But from what I can tell, strength of schedule for all three teams is .502. Wouldn't that create a needed tie breaker?

Really liked what I saw from Singleton last night.

You will have to wait a year and by that time hopefully our RB draft is solved with the 200 other good RB's this year. :)

I'm not as high on Singleton as many of the other RB's in this years draft. Think he made a wise choice to stay. Kaytron Allen decided to stay also.

Loveland and Collins would be a monster start

Florida/Georgia RB Trevor Etienne has declared.
Would love to hear your thoughts on Trevor as I am sure you have followed him closely. Seems like he has a lot of tools but maybe lacks elite traits needed to be a great back. How do you see him as a pro? Prior to the season he was talked about as a early round pick, now more mid round.

I think Trevor Etienne is the type of back who will never be a "STAR" at the NFL level but will have a nice long lengthy career. He is more of a power back then brother, Travis. Less speed but has similar vision that Travis has. He likes contact and will run over defenfers, while not being "just a power back". Not tall so he is able to get low which is a huge advantage for the type of runner he is. He runs very low... Not elite speed but he can also break some long runs. Physical back with good balance.. He has good hands but not speed to line up as a WR but also good at blocking. Seems to do well in space. At Florida it seemed like if he was able to get by the line of scrimmage he could make people miss. I didn't see that as much at Georgia but he gets the tough yards and is hard to bring down. Not going to tackle him often 1 on 1.

I thought watching him this season he reminded me of a shorter TD with his style.

I'd be ok with him here, but I don't think its the typical fit Payton has at rb

Yeah, I feel you there.

I don’t think he will end up a Bronco.

You know how much I love Travis Etienne. Speaking of which he may be available.

FA market is gonna be horrible for RB’s this year with the size of goodies in the draft. It is already a bad market but gonna be way bad this year. Bad year to be a FA RB.

I'm looking and they appear to fall into our range in the 1st and 2nd. I'd like a well-rounded three down RB in the 3rd. Someone to pair with Estime as I think he should be one of a 1-2 punch with other (already rostered) guys slipped in situationally.

Dammit - I'm trying to stop wanting Skattebo in the 3rd. Somebody, talk some sense into me. Talk me back away from the ledge.
