I get what everyone is saying about the amount Quality RB's make it maybe not worth it .

Right now TE is our biggest need . We still have a lot of games left so who knows

There is history of Payton using premium picks on the RB position. My only issue as we sit now with the 23rd overall pick is to get Jeanty good chance we have to trade up to make that happen. I would hate to do that in such a loaded RB draft. I love Jeanty don't get me wrong, but there are a lot of RB's I love.

You could argue Jeanty’s playmaking ability would fill our biggest need. He runs a bit upright imo, but his balance is unbelievable. I would be happy if we landed him. RB position value has slid in recent drafts, so who knows, he might fall to us at pick 32 ;)

Watch him and think Emmitt Smith . I loved watch Emmitt Smith play .

I have Bias So I will be honest If I was the person that picked pur pick and he was their I would not do it if it was not unfamous in the room .

Besides I have yet to look at all the other RB. I think TE is our weakest position. I liked one week were our TE did reasonable.

I am hoping Jeanty gets to play a couple good teams before the season is over and he does well against better teams in College before this year is out .

this year has been fun

Florida DL is very underrated going into this years draft IMO.

DT's Cam Jackson and Cam Banks very impressive the last two years.

Florida EDGE Tyreak Sapp really ended the season well.

Jackson and Banks are SR's. Jackson already announced he will play in the bowl game.

Sapp is a RS JR... I wouldn't have thought he would declare until after the last month of the season. It will come down to his draft grade but he has major momentum. I think he should test well and has good film now.

Unlike Jarvis Moss he isn't a one game wonder. He has come along as his career went on at Florida ad really hit his full throttle this year.

I also think while not a top WR prospect, Elijhah Badger will get drafted early day 3. His numbers at ASU were really good his SOPH year. Tailed off last year with no QB and then while his numbers aren't what is important here he made the big plays for UF when Eugene Wilson went down. Has been a big dinged up but gets good separation and makes big plays.

Illinois WR Pat Bryant declared. Very underrated WR prospect. Burden did yesterday. Obviously expected but it's draft news. ;)

also, another Nix has landed in Oregon.

LB Gavin Nix (Not related, different skin tone)

I know we don't have a shot at getting him now but Will Campbell has declared for the draft. One of the few tackles I like.

One of my favorite RB's just declared in Devin Neal. Have a soft spot for this kid. Grew up here in Kansas and stayed at a Kansas program that was down in the dumps and needing a jolt to get the program back on track. His senior season didn't quite go to plan, but man this kid is fun to watch. Would love to see him in Denver.

He actually didn't have to declare. He was a SR... Thought he might declare last year but he got a nice NIL deal which is the only way you are really gonna bring back a draftable RB back in college nowadays. Makes sense for guys like him and TreVeyon Henderson though. 2 years ago no way would they have come back but with the short shelf life of an NFL RB the extra NIL helps keep them around.

To name a few... Many of these I have listed still have to announce if they are going to declare or not as many are JR's.. It is the best RB group I have seen. Some listed will stay in college because of the depth to help their stock next year, especially with NIL deals. This is not my rankings. Just compiling a list.
Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
Omarion Hampton, North Carolina
Kaleb Johnson, Iowa
Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech
TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State
Quinson Judkins, Ohio State
Devin Neal, Kansas
DJ Giddens, Kansas State
Jordan James, Oregon
Ollie Gordon III, Oklahoma State
Damien Martinez, Miami
Ja'Quinden Jackson Arkansas
Trevor Etienne, Georgia
Phil Mafah, Clemson
Brashard Smith, SMU
Kael Mullings, Michigan
Nick Singleton, Penn State
Dylan Sampson, Tennessee
Raheim Sanders, South Carolina
Le'Veon Moss, Texas A&M (Injured late so probably returns)
Kyle Monangai, Rutgers
LaQuint Allen, Syracuse
Woody Marks, USC
RJ Harvey, Central Florida
Montrell Johnson, Florida
Jarquez Hunter, Auburn
Jonah Coleman, Washington
Jaydn Ott, California
Donovan Edwards, Michigan
Antario Brown, Northern Illinois
Henry Parrish, Ole Miss
Cam Skattebo, Arizona State (Could be more of a FB/RB role like Carson Steele)

I am sure I forgot a few here. Doing this off the top of my head.

He played an entire season against the CU Buffaloes. I'd love him for wearing down defenses.
