I would consider Scat in round 3.sure...but 12 is way to rich for 2 of those 4
and one would be a HUGE reach if taken before round two.
I am not impressed with Howard. Watched him all season. He was not good at the combine throwing compared the others.Watch the semifinal and final and explain yuck

some have said Howard will be lucky to get drafted after his combine showing. He reminds me of Darnold at USC. He makes real bad decisions with the football.Kid is a baller. Throws the ball as well as Dak did as a rookie, plus mobile and a leader
me as well, butI got a feeling Jeanty isnt gonna be in the cards for us.
Even if it looks like he would fall to #12, I think some team will trade up ahead of us to get him.
No sweat, I may be wrong. I can't stand Ohio State. I was rooting hard against them in the Semis and Finals, and watched that kid make play after play. I think he will be fine....as a 5th round typesome have said Howard will be lucky to get drafted after his combine showing. He reminds me of Darnold at USC. sorry...I was a pass before the combine.
Now...a hard pass.
I agree. I think if you go BPA, you just take the best player and not worry about it. But if you are like the Cowboys and drafting for need, you have to look at the where the depth is in the draft. I love Jeanty, but I think you can pass on him for something else in round 1 and still get a clear starting RB in round 2-3 or a solid rotational back in round 5me as well, but
Hampton, Johnson, Henderson, Judkins, Sampson, Skattebo, Neal, James, Giddens, Harvey, James, Etienne, Blue, and Tuten just might make many teams think twice about Jeanty in the top 15 or so.
Heck...Bhayshul Tuten and his 4.32 time at the combine got my attention about this guy.
who knows.
^thisit will be hard for me to be pissed at pick 12.
I support Jeanty for sure. I would like also like to see them draft a guy like Giddens in round 5 if he falls that far. This guy has a knack for getting yards after contact. It's not his size, it is the instincts with this kid . I think Giddens got what it takes to be a starter..it will be hard for me to be pissed at pick 12.
So many looked great in underwear this past week
I still think with so many good prospects at RB and DT. A big time DB or OL guy gets me excited at 12. BUT...it's easy to support Jeanty at 12 for me.
I don't think they are going to go OL in round 1 after going there last season. Just a gut feeling. Playmaker or defender IMOI support Jeanty for sure. I find myself wanting Membou or Will Johnson if Jeanty off the board at 12.
They need physical play from their offensive tackles. Guyton and Steele play like they are afraid to get hurt. Zero physicality from these two. They flat out sucked last year. I don't trust either. OT is a huge need. Membou is better than both our starting tackles. He likely also could play guard. Position flex!
Will Johnson also has to be highly considered if he is there at 12. Diggs is done as an All-pro due to that knee. They are going to cut Diggs next off season and use any cap savings on Bland in 2026.
I think Membou would be a very safe pick at 12. Physical, big, mean and smart. The quick feet to stop smaller edge rushers. The size to deal with any big DT that comes in on a stunt. There is film of him destroying stunts. I think he is going to be a stud. He mauls people. I would not hesitate to draft him at 12. Steele is stealing money IMO. Just like Diggs is stealing money .
If not Jeanty then I hope they go defense then. I just am not all that impressed with the receivers at the top of this draft. Hunter is the only one I really think belongs in the top 15. McMillan could prove me wrong.I don't think they are going to go OL in round 1 after going there last season. Just a gut feeling. Playmaker or defender IMO
I'm different as well I think. I would use FA to build a team that could line up and play football without a gaping hole...and then draft the best talent in the draft straight down the board. To me, that is the surest way not to miss on players. Don't sugarcoat your draft board, and take them exactly as they are ranked. Hypothetical...say we had the 10th pick and this were the 2017 draft. We have the same needs we have now....let's say the #1 player on our board was Patrick Mahomes. If we were to pick for need, since we have Dak already, then DT Jonathan Allen is sitting right there. And that wouldn't be a bust, we would be filling a need with a real good player. But it would be a fuck up all the same. If we have good people(From Will down we do), then I would have them rank a board 1-250 and I would go straight down itIf not Jeanty then I hope they go defense then. I think of the draft differently than most. If I were GM I would draft multiple backs in this draft. I do this because there are a lot of backs in this draft that look like starters. I would draft two and keep the little RB as a change of pace. Dowdle can sign elsewhere if it were me running this chitshow
I would also draft multiple defensive tackles.. I am all about fixing a position and turn it into a strength. This is why I would draft Membou if he falls. We got a real problem at OT and I don't know if coaching fixes it.
Let's face it. Most of the people that post on here knows talent better than Jerry and Stephen.I'm different as well I think.
