I like the Ole Miss guys. They are run stopping beasts. Nolan, Iv, pegues. I am all about SEC defensive players.
They are good too. I saw a mock that had Nolan going to the Cowboys at 12 the other day. That's higher than I have seen him. If we lose Osa he would be a nice 3T replacement, if Osa is back i would prefer the big Grant kid at NT if we went DT at 12(provided Mason Graham is gone)

Haha, well, you should be in the clear because the TE i want is projected 7th now lol.
I will stand by Warren would be a massive add for us. We need a #2 WR....but Mahomes and Brady have been to what, 15 Super Bowls with a #1 target TE? If we line up in a two TE, Two WR set, Warren and Ferguson what is the D going to do? If they are in nickel, either TE will block the piss out of a slot corner or free safety and we run it. If they line up in base, they will both have a mismatch against a Linebacker or Strong Saftey in the pass game. They will take a safety over the top, freeing up Lamb or and our other WR. We have a QB who can call those adjustments at the line. I believe he would help our offense more than any player we could draft in round 1
I stopped reading at Mahomes and Brady

Grant is a good one. I don't how they can mess this first round pick up.

I really like Grant. If they don't bring back Osa they will be desperate for a 3 tech so they will probably be more interested in Nolan or Harmon. I think we would be way better off with Osa back and paired with a monster like Grant or Williams or Walker. The wildcard guy is Collins from Texas. I must be missing something, most people have him in the 2nd or 3rd, I think he is a 1st round talent

I think Ferguson is the right in the middle of the pack starter wise. He would be one of the best second TE's. Schoony is currently one of the worst second TE's. He would be a solid #3. My thing is what having a TE that forces S/LB double teams would do for the run game and the double team coverage Lamb sees. It all comes down to whether you think the kid will be great or not
Good things could happen with a guy like Warren. But I don't see them adding a TE with investment they already got on Ferguson and Schoon.

I do think a guy like Warren would make the offense way less predictable. Especially if they went two TE and ran the ball lots. Warren can hurt a defense in a lot of ways.

I think there is a zero percent chance we take him. And we shouldn't take him if we have 5 starting spots to fill from FA and the draft is our only source of talent. But we are going backwards if that's the case. We aren't adding 5 starters. The last two drafts combined we have netted one above average starter in Overshown, three guys that look like solid starters going forward in Beebe, Liufau and Kneeland, and 3 guys that are on the fence between solid and bust in Guyton, Schoony and Mazi. So at best we will net 2 solid starters and a couple of rotation guys. Hoping for more than that is like playing the lottery

I think Grant goes in the top 15. Defensive tackles usually go off the board early.. if they want a quality DT they need to do it in round 1 ,or 2

I also think Nolen goes off the board early top 15. Either would help the run defense. Both can create a lot of pressure . Grant could take Mazis spot if they bring back Osa.

You can't actually believe that
Man Gronk and Kelce were their #1 receiving option in 7 of their 10 Super Bowl wins. There is zero debating that. In this year's loss by the Chiefs, Kelce is getting old and about to retire and Mahomes looked like shit. I can absolutely believe it

I've definitely warmed to Grant but I don't think he is quite as good as others do. At this point I'm not sure how I'd feel if we drafted him but I'm not totally against him as I was before. I love the idea of him as that is exactly what I want, but I'm just not sure he is the guy. Did he make Graham, did Graham make him, a little of both?

Could be a little of both.

I was very surprised when I recently read that NFL.com has Nolen rated higher than Graham.

This is a weaker draft. Supposedly only 10 players have a 1st round grade? If this is true they may have a problem finding a team to trade down with .
