The Packers are capable of beating every team in the league, they just gotta play clean football. Fumbling on your first possession, failing to connect on a 4th down try that was open when in field goal range and lining up offsides on a missed field goal are some key differences between a win and a loss.

I'm by no means predicting the Packers are going to make a run to the SB; I'm simply pointing out that such a thing is well within reason. Stomping on hope because of some self-inflicted wounds in past games is silly.
That’s the common denominator in their losses. Too many to overcome against good teams. Again, I put some of that on being young. They cannot commit several of those in the playoffs and get to the next level. Team that commits the least amount of mistakes usually wins. Mistakes happen mostly due to lack of discipline. Maybe they find it in post season.

Will they continue to implode in post season? Or will they manage to play mistake free football? After today’s loss at home against the boo hoo bears…it doesn’t look promising. I know I know GB had nothing to play for and they needed to save their starters but how embarrassing for them to lose at home. GB is 1-5 against division opponents this year. That’s f’ing horrible and a disgrace. It’s going to be a typical game next week. They will get behind early and try to play catch up with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter and come up short once again. Jesus, the bears? Really?

Forgot to add: move on from Watson. Good talent but is nothing more than a nightmare of injuries. Was he this weak in college? If so, shame on GB for drafting him. Zero help on the sidelines on IR.

On the flipside, it took the Bears' starters a trick punt return for a TD, a fumble recovery in scoring position and last second field goal to 'Bear'-ly beat the Packers' second string.

It's a journey and nobody is going to win the title every year. The reality is there are 32 teams trying to get to the playoffs, 14 of them get there. If you're good or lucky enough to get into the playoffs it's a weekly elimination tournament where you get your shot weekly. So they got the first part done, now they're onto the weekly part in the playoffs, and believe it or not they do have a chance at a win. The game isn't decided on paper or by power rankings or by anything else other than the scoreboard. I don't know how much more you want from them other than competing for a win.

Now, there are some caveats. The games are played at the "better" teams stadium, better being how you placed within divisions within the conference. There are also a few not usual scheduling quirks, nothing happens if max money isn't being made, and you also have to live with the strange days and times the games are played, if that's the case.

Lastly, I know this one is very difficult for some to grasp, but all teams pay their players and those paychecks are usually earned by performance. Performance in doing your job and being as good as you can be at your position. Some teams have better players at some positions than others and winning is usually about buying into the system and doing your job at the best of your ability. There are times, however, when teams do actually outmatch the other team and bad stuff happens like a blow out.

So, with all that stated, I'll take the Packers playing in the post season and accept where the chips fall from here. It's much better than watching the Packers of the 70's and 80's where they had no chance what so ever to even get to the playoffs. They owe me nothing, and if you think they do owe you something, then you need to buy a team and you can tell them all about it.

Another disappointing season in the books. Might be time to move on from ML and the Jordan Love experiment. Also, it’s really important for the talent evaluators to make prone to injury a priority. Doesn’t matter if you’re the best talent in the world. If you’re always on the sidelines, what good are you?

Strange, it appears to me that you got the exact season you've been asking for since the first day you've posted here.

Lol…I was disappointed by the results last night as well but we’re a young team in the league that played one of the best teams in the league at their house.

I think our defense played pretty damn well for the most part also so that was a big positive.

Not time to blow it all up yet.

As I said earlier though, Love definitely disappointed me but he’s still young also, there’s still time for him to turn it around, time will tell on that one.

If you’re an NFL fan and aren’t willing to admit that injuries are an inevitability regardless of if they are sudden and unexpected or even if someone has a reputation of being on the sideline more often than not, I don’t know what to tell you.

This isn’t flag football.

Defense came to play, offense once again failed to show up early.

Nixon fumble to start the game really hurt... OL depth really reared its ugly head after Jenkins injury.

Love has not lived up to his big contract, needs to elevate players around him with a contract like that and is not happening.

That's a big downside of having the youngest team in the NFL... an opening kickoff fumble affects a young player's mental and emotional states more than seasoned vets who have overcome such circumstances several times. Specifically on offense, there are literally ZERO players on the roster in their 30's and only two offensive linemen over the age of 26. 23 of 25 offensive players at all positions are between the ages of 23 and 26. Games like this are the only way this roster will get calloused enough to overcome those types of circumstances in the future.

LaFleur is one of the winning-est head coaches in NFL history (by regular season win percentage) and he's keeping it going with a roster full of puppies. Jordan Love is one of the puppies. It's utterly asinine to suggest throwing LaFleur and Love in the trash because they didn't win a Super Bowl yet. Take a step back and look at the big picture... There are only two players on this entire 53 man roster who are at least 30 years old: back up LB Eric Wilson (30) and K Brandon McManus (33).

On the contrary, keep this roster intact as much as possible. Allow them grow together and become experienced together.

Michael Jordan didn't walk into the NBA as the GOAT, he needed to get his ass whipped repeatedly by Larry Bird's Celtics and Isaiah Thomas's Pistons to become a champion himself.

The biggest concern coming out of these last few weeks of Packers' football is the long-term viability of the Packers' receiving corps. Watson (knees) and Doubs (brain) both are experiencing repeated issues that could very well affect the future of their careers. The Packers did not draft any WRs last year; it would be wise to draft at least one this year (in the first half of the draft) to cover the possibility that Watson and/or Doubs will not be part of the long-term growth of this team.

I'm pretty sure we're all disappointed with the results of that game, but it is a competition and they did compete.

Love does have a little bit of the Favre chuck and duck syndrome in him, hopefully he gets it worked out.

Ever since Rodgers mentioned that Nixon is a good returner, he's been anything but a good returner. I'm kind of tired of him, Alexander and Stokes. As the vet DBs, they either don't see the field, do stupid stuff when they're on it and aren't as good as they think in their own minds.

Whatever, the only thing I think any of them owe us as fans is effort, and I haven't really seen a lack of that.

I really don't mind "chuck and duck" if...
- they're deep balls
- it's man coverage on the outside
- you're throwing it to a WR who is good at coming down with contested catches
- you're in a down & distance that makes sense to try it
- do it maybe 2 or 3 times a game max

...considering...
- most of the time, the WR has the advantage over the DB
- oftentimes, those plays result in a PI flag
- if it gets intercepted, it's essentially a punt

The bolded experiment part of his post screams BerkshireBull.
