Heard on the radio this was the easiest piece of investigative work Rick Westhead has ever done if you even can call it that.I'm not sure what might happen to the Canadian women's soccer team at these Olympics, but it seems pretty clear that there is a pretty long history of spying on other teams (back to the Herdman coaching days) and an atmosphere of coercing coaches / consultants to either go along with the spying or find another job.
Complete mutiny on the coaching staff (whole bunch of them talked to Rick) as Bev Priestman threw the 2 assistants under the bus and portrayed them as rogue coaches who were acting on their own accord when they were actually expected to do the spying. And one of them spent 3 days in a French jail ... while Priestman publically stated she was showing leadership by skipping coaching the opening match
also funny story was that mens staff tried using the drone at Copa. An assistant went to Jesse Marsch and asked him to the effect of "do you want us to use the drone?" as this was common practice and he was wtf "uhhhhh no ?????"
