Kingsbury & Munch would be awesome. Munch was good fit with Tomlin. And the Steelers finally have some decent OL pieces back in place that could make the job more appealing.

David Tepper is a Pittsburgh native, and was a minority owner of the Steelers for a while.

So I imagine there is a lot of communication and familiarity between the franchises.

I understand that connection, but not sure why that relationship with an owner would influence how we 'scout' their coaching staff. Clearly the product in Carolina has been a mess, so I don't understand the reasoning behind wanting to pickup their castoffs.

I mean, even if Tepper 'puts in a good word' for these people, shouldn't the Steelers FO be more concerned with the actual product those people put on the field?

Pat Meyer's OL was dogshit in Carolina. Fired after 2 seasons. Frisman Jackson has done nothing noteworthy as far as developing talent. Never made it more than 2 seasons with an NFL team. This will be his first time making it to year 3 with a team in the NFL.
