Bad GMs gonna bad GM and Verbeek has someone holding his beer right now. He could’ve traded down and still gotten him.

Verbeek fumbling benefited us last year and gave us a choice to make this year. I think we always had Lindstrom in the spot though, but I bet they gave Demidov more than a passing thought after probably expecting him to be gone..

Jackets liked him, and there was a rumo(u)r of them either trading down if Lindstrom was gone or going after another mid first pick and getting him too.
