I can't believe that the Falcons called Kirk Cousins to tell him they were going to draft Penix while they were on the clock. Really?? You knew he was going to be there at 8 before the draft. You couldn't have told him before that. Maybe it wasn't just Arthur Smith that made that organization look so stupid. Although, this was the only way that the Falcons could take a 4th straight skill position offensive player in the 1st round and make him a fantasy disappointment the year they drafted him.

Went to -1000 right before the draft, forget which book had it there, but some of the books were still accepting Caleb at 1.01 bets up until the draft and idiots were betting thousands of dollars to win pennies

I think its fair to say that Andy Reid will always kick the tires on a stupidly fast receiver prospect. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesnt.

I think there's only so many teams out there that are willing to take on Deebo's 28mil cap hit.
Same goes for Aiyuk in regard to signing him to a long-term deal, which I think has really tempered trades

also, its the SF 49ers, who wants to give them anything to help them out?
