My Broncos picks in the same draft George was the Dolphins GM in.
Trade up for McCarthy when I was trying to move down for Nix. It was too cheap to pass. Only costing me a 3rd. My biggest letdown was not getting a DL but the value wasn't there and I refuse to reach in these things with value always on the board.

I wasn't planning to take a second CB but the value of Simpson in Round 6 was just too good to pass.
Rosemy-Saintjack is a fun pick to me. Has all the tools. In an offense where they had a ton of great players and a great defense where their offense didn't have to really open up the playbook a ton.... I love Rosemy-Saintjack, think he will be a better pro then college player. Bell seems like a Payton type of TE to me... H-back who is a great receiver. RB was just based on value and we do have 2 UFA's at RB after this year. I think Nelson Ceaser is going to be a great situational pass rusher in the NFL. Not great vs the run but he is a potential double digit sack guy. Jones has all the tools and really starting putting it all together at FSU this year just in time to declare. Love the value I got. Will hit on some DL free agents that I had draftable grades on.

Denver Broncos

Round 1- J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Round 4- Jarrian Jones, CB, Florida State
Round 5- Marshawn Lloyd, RB, USC
Round 5- Nelson Ceaser, EDGE, Houston
Round 5- Jaheim Bell, TE, Florida State
Round 6- Marcus Rosemy-Saintjack, WR, Georgia
Round 6- Jaylin Simpson, CB, A

Were did Bo Nix fall to just wondering .That would be great if McCarthy makes it to us . His numbers are not much but he just wins .. he must really not make to many mistakes.

One of my favorite late round guys in the draft. Thought this guy as a FR and SOPH would end up being in the top 3 rounds. Has great tools. Didn't test as well as I had hoped.. Film isn't as "fun" as some of the others that I posted but he is solid.

DC, what say you ??

Dylan Laube ... the guy looks faster than the 4.5 he ran at the combine .. I knew nothing about him until I started watching late round RBs

geesh, he can cut, and goes like 0-60 in 2 seconds

Reminds me of a joke I made up and tell to select customers at the shop

.. a guy telling his friend about marital woes :

"I bought my wife a Dodge Challenger for her birthday .. I handed her the fob, and she looks at it and shrugs .. "I don't want this .. it goes from 0-60 in 6 seconds ... I want something faster .. something that goes from 0-300 in two seconds"

So I bought her a bathroom scale

I like Laube. We sorta have a RB on our roster similar to him already though.

All the more reason to draft him late, or as a FA ... If Jaleel McLaughlin has success then gets hurts, we'd have someone to pick up where he left off ... I like guys who can play multiple roles - RB, WR, punt and kick returns .. can never have too many good ones

Dan Fouts - who isn't always the most complimentary - had some high praise for Bo Nix

"He's a good one. He's bigger than you think (for being listed at 6-foot-2) and he's very accurate," Fouts said via Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette. "And his accuracy is as good on the run as it is in the pocket, which is unusual obviously. He's a player, a real competitor. He's really smart. He's got a great future."

"I watched every game and I didn't see him not complete long balls," Fouts said. "I thought he's got an arm that will surprise because he's quick and he's got great mechanics. He's got an arm that can reach down the field."

Fouts, generally speaking, is a tool and a moron. Id rather trust Elway to pick our qb.

Like he did with Peyton Manning ??

or CB like he did with Talib and Chris Harris

Pass rusher ?? Von Miller ? DeMarcus Ware ??

Safeties TJ Ward and Justin Simmons ?

I was specific about the position for a reason. And our discussion revolved around drafted qb's, not FA signings or other positions.
