Yes agree... Purdue without Edey does not appear very strong, was waiting for someone else to step up when Edey went quiet for a bit there in 2nd half and no one really did.

I see Tennessee has parted ways with another women's coach, firing Kellie Harper after 5 seasons. It seems they're having a hard time finding the next Pat Summitt. Give it up, Tennessee big wigs...it ain't gonna happen.

The similarities between NC State '24 and NC State '83 are there. Both won nine straight. Both needed to win the ACC to get in to the Dance. Both were a team that few basketball fans could name a player. '83 had the three seniors, Derek Whittenberg, Thurl Bailey and Sidney Lowe. Good player but no stud. The '24 has the DJ's who were known at the beginning of March but are known now. But the teams that '83 had to go through is epic. They beat #1 (Houston), #2 (Virginia, twice), #5 (UNC) and #6 (UNLV). Ended the seasons on Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon, Sam Perkins, Brad Daugherty, Michael Jordan, Ralph Sampson and Sidney Green.e

UConn looks unbeatable... hopefully Bama can give them a good game, but think UConn will be too much.

Purdue looks beatable... Tennessee gave them a good game, Edey needs 1 bad game for them to lose. Seeing they recently lost to Badgers in BigTen tourney definitely think NC State could pull off a win.

They can be beaten. If Kansas, Seton Hall, and Creighton can do it, Purdue can. One of the few who has what it takes.

Edey just had an unbelievable game against a great Tenn. team with their own star. Edey has to score a minimum 30 pts. to carry the team though.

I'm not saying bama or NC state are not good teams, they are very good, but just think Uconn and Purdue are on another level.

Two of those losses were without Clingan

And Creighton shot 60% from 3....at home.

It's possible, but it's a tough formula.

That's what makes Edey so scary. He can get Clingan in foul trouble and then he'll drop 40 on the backups.
